Hotel closed down since April 2018!!

I have used Expedia numerous times without problems. However, this time we arrived to find the hotel had been closed since April of this year!! We booked this hotel in May!! And now, looking back at some reviews there is one that says the same thing so why are you still advertising it. Luckily, we had a very kind taxi driver who drove us to another hotel . I am very disappointed and hope you will refund the hotel cost, £59.86, together with the extra taxi cost,£7, as soon as possible. I look forward to your comments and hope you remove this hotel to stop other people having the same experience!

I didn't stay in, I found the hotel closed meaning no longer operational for more more than a month as I was told by the security guard at the gate. I had to find another hotel. I want a full refund.

Emeli hotel, molto ingannevoli le foto sul sito, la realtà è molto diversa, dire disastroso è dire poco, camere piccolissime e tristissime, bagno con rubinetto rotto, soffione doccia rotto e attaccato al soffitto, niente acqua calda, niente phon, un solo asciugamano. Ho cambiato tre stanze in due giorni ma erano tutte pessime. Piscina coperta guasta. Colazione continentale??? Ma non scherziamo! Rumoroso e sporco Da dimenticare

We have booked superior room and room is pretty big and nice. Only one thing that room not really clean as we expected in what we paid. A bit noisy on the road but ok. Staff are very nice and happy to help. Good breakfast there also

SUPER ACCOMMODATING HOTEL.

We were a group of 3 adults traveling and the hotel was so kind to set up another bed in the suite area without us even asking. Staff was super nice and were to make sure we had everything we needed. Even had the stomach meds that I so needed.

Comfortable and clean hotel with great service.

Emeli hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing and very accommodating! Breakfast was delicious - good quality, fresh food. Wished my stay was much longer than 1 night!

DON'T book this! We got robbed inside the hotel!

DON'T book this hotel. We got robbed inside the hotel the 11th of July 2016 while eating dinner. They took all the electronics, camera, charger, etc. We contacted the hotel staff to call the police but they first refused which is against the law in Kenya. The manager for the security came 1.5 h later and got very annoyed that the hotel didn't call the police which they in the end said they did, the police confirmed they never called. The security manager which is from a separate company brought us to the police to help us.

Hade bokat rummet för 3 nätter (semester). Negativt: Väldigt litet rum, ingen ac, inget trevligt område, dålig mat, iskallt duschvatten, hårda sängar. Positivt: snäll och hjälpsam personal, bra Wi-fi, tv-kanaler, fin utsikt från restaurang/bar som ligger längst upp.

의외로 괜찮은

아쉬운 점은 냉장고와 에어컨이 없어서 아쉬웠지만 에어컨은 불편한 점이 없었습니다. 기대안한 숙소였지만 괜찮은 수영장과 친절한 직원들. 깨끗한 침구류.. 그리고 주변에 멋지 레스토랑도 있어서 아주만족스러웠습니다.

Stay somewhere else!

The bed was too hard and we had to take the cushions off the couch to pad it in order to sleep comfortably. World's tiniest bathroom is here!! If you weigh more than 150 lbs, don't expect to get in/out of the shower stall easily. The sliding glass door only allows very skinny people in! When you turn on the water heater, you get scalding hot water. Your other choice is freezing cold water! We had to "help" each other shower as 1 would stand outside and turn the water heater on & off as required so that we would neither burn nor freeze! The TV was on the wall, right in front of the balcony door. If you weren't careful, you would go head first into the TV when leaving the balcony.

Very simple stay

If you plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel, then this is not for you. We stayed just one night then left in the morning. Before we left, we walked to the National Museum. My room had a view of the Nairobi River Park (also known as John Michuki Memorial Park). The traffic from the busy street below could be heard but I had earplugs. The pool is beautiful and clean, with a fabulous view. The restaurant was open for complementary breakfast but didn't seem to have food any other time of day. However, we ordered in the middle of the day and were able to get small snacks and drinks. The rooms are small but comfortable.

Prima, maar niet zoals de verwachting aangaven

Stopcontacten zitten ver verstopt onder een kastje, geen airconditioning op de kamer en ontzettend gehorig s'nachts. Zwembad op het dakterras is prima. Wifi op de kamer was beperkt, maar deed het wel. En het bestellen van eten duurde ontzettend land en was afgekoeld eer je het kreeg.

Easy walk to Natural History Museum

Lovely view of park around museum from the one side. Unfortunately that side also faces the road which makes it rather noisy. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Hotel Construction and Facilities are very good

The Hotel Staff and Guards were excellent. I missed my flight and came one day late and was given a superior room in compensation. Excellent initiative. Very good buffet breakfast. Hot showers and magnificent View Roof top Pool. The staff accommodated myself and my friends entertaining ourselves well past closing hours [2am].

Nairobi Visit

Not my first trip to Nairobi. Will stay here again. No Air Conditioning but that's not unusual. Traffic jams in the area affect access to the Hotel sometimes. Food was average with nice view from restaurant. Room was clean and Hotel grounds were secure. Staff was great and helpful.

Good city views

Had a good stay at hotel, most impressive thing for me was the city view from roof top. The service through stay was nice, and staff made sure you were ok. If the hotel was in a different area it would have been nice, as advised when wanting to wonder down the road, it was not safe after 6pm. But saying that perhap you would justwant to enjoy the views or swim in the pool.
