"Good: The beach. The pool. The variety of dining options. The hotel though in several areas like the rooms, lifts etc could be cleaner / better maintained. The AC struggled to lower the room temp below 24C. The light in the cupboard where the safe is located would not switch off. Flushing the toilet resulted in it running for over 5 minutes. The grout on the shower enclosures could do with the occasional clean with bleach…. Not what I expected of a hotel with such high daily charges."

Close to the city center with bus/train stations, banks/ATMs. Turtle beach also very close, we can feed the friendly sea turtles and take photos. Kids friendly beach area. This hotel has swimming pools. One for the kids also. Good breakfast and dinner buffet with international food items, some local items also daily. Good A/C, Hot water, comfy beds. "Nice hotel in the heart of Hikkaduwa. Good buffet breakfast. Plenty of restaurants near by if you want a change from hotel food. Like most hotels in this area it is right on the very busy main road. Traffic at night is very noisy, worth paying for a sea view room if you can."

"Excellent clean property...across the road from beach. We stayed in air con room as an upgrade. Dont stay here on a Friday night if you want an early night as there is a very noisy party...we were pre warned. Pool area is lovely."
