"It was very difficult to get there, since google does not have any registered “elephant b&b.” Right out of the airport, ask to be taken to 3pok, and that’s where the hotel is. Other than that, you will have the time of your life, the tour guides are amazing, and they treated my kids very well. I highly recommend to any family with small children! Beautiful experience

"I stayed for 2 nights in the small bungalow with the little private pool. It was absolutely wonderful. This was at the end of my first solo travel to Thailand and it was a great way to end my trip. The property was very peaceful and quiet, the elephants are just amazing, and the food was delicious. It's an hour away from Chaing Mai old town and I used the hotel transport, check in was super easy as I had already paid when I booked. All of the activities cost extra and you pay at check-out, I felt they were all very comparably priced compared to other tours in the area. I did the elephant feed & walk and the rafting. Both were wonderful! The stuff was very friendly & helpful, the food was very good and the view was beautiful. My room was clean & had an a/c unit, it was actually cool enough I never turned it on, the bed was very firm but the pillows and blankets were soft and comfy. Over all it was the highlight of my trip and I plan to return with my kids in the future."

Had to come out and sort the check out when ordering room service (even though I notified I have credit for the room) - was a bit annoying but everything sorted. Biggest disadvantage is that you are pretty far out from the city - so that would cost time and money on rides. And of course- you are mainly going to order food in the hotel area which is always annoying. Even though it is pretty far and quieter than in town - you still hear noises like cars and people (stuff) walking and talking - at least in the room I had facing the pool side. They have a golf course just 1 min walk away so I guess that’s good if you play golf. The staff are very nice and respectful. Breakfast is ok, not great (the cheese plater needs to be bigger). Again overall it’s a good stay - and the difference between a good choice and could do better elsewhere - really depends what the price for the room. I think 110 usd (including tax) per night is a bit borderline."

Amazing resort

"The hotel was very spacious, close to the resort cafe and reception and within walking distance to the riverbed and sanctuary. It had good amenities with a large outdoor shower with shower gel/ shampoo and toilet paper. In the bed room there was bottled water and kettle for teas or coffees, homemade mosquito repellent and soap bar, there was also a hair dryer and a mosquito net which was an extra bonus. The resort offer free shuttle to the riverbed however we walked down and made our way over to the sanctuary it was amazing to see the elephants roaming around with the designated handlers who were so friendly despite the language barrier for some. Overall an amazing experience and would definitely come back again. "
