"The property is a delight. The manager, speaks excellent English, and his wife were both so friendly and helpful. The property is in a quiet location near beautiful Sotorua Beach. It is so calm and relaxing. Shimoda is a short bus or taxi ride away or a 30 minute work. There is only one restaurant within easy walking distance and it is excellent. Suggest upgrading to a room with a private outdoor bathroom. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay."

"This is a great value property close to Shimoda and the railway station. All rooms are slightly different in layout and are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. I booked a room with a shower for both my stays. Windows are double glazed making the rooms very quiet. There are two private onsen for the use of the guests, which are wonderful. "We paid a good price for this hotel during golden week and it was much more affordable than other options. The property is well located right in front of the tombolo and less than a 10 minute walk to the local shop/restaurants so we were pleased. "It was nice staying at this guest house Shirahama. It was only a few minutes drive from the Shirahama Beach. Also the restaurant was nice. Breakfast was only 500 Yen, but it was really delicious!
