There are areas to be together as a large group in the house and the layout also provides plenty of privacy with 8 separate bedrooms. Instructions provided for the property were easy to understand, fully sufficient without being over extensive. Had everything needed for up to 10 people to show up and get a good night's sleep. Location is beautiful, our first morning was jaw dropping and made me wish I lived there permanently. I highly recommend this property if you're staying anywhere near Jamestown."

The home is an old home with some of the quirks of an old home like very low water pressure (one shower at a time) and some challenging lighting in the kitchen and cooling in main bedroom. No closet in the main bedroom, but lots of closets in the other bedrooms. The owners have updated the house very nicely and everything was comfortable and very clean. "The property owners were incredible, prompt, and helpful. The property is very clean and roomy. A definite off the beat and path area perfect for family time. HOWEVER!! We arrived, dropped our items off, checked out the space, then headed to the marina/beach area. Once we arrived we received an urgent phone call and had to immediately grab our items and return home. This was a very expensive 10 min stay."

The decor was upscale and thoughtfully decorated from the wall art to the linens, etc. When we go with our adult kids we have a tradition that we each take one night to cook dinner- the kitchen was well-appointed and easy to carry on this tradition! "Perfect place for our family weekend getaway to the lake. The house was very clean and so cute. Only a short 10 minute drive to Lees Ford marina to pick up our boat. The house was super cozy and we loved it. There is no gas grill as pictured but we were able to go 5 minutes down the road to the family dollar and buy a charcoal grill. We will definitely be booking again!"
