"Great location, reception staff super friendly and helpful, couldn’t fault them. Rooms are pretty small, air conditioning unit was poor, didn’t really have an impact and was cooler to sleep with the balcony door open! Rooms were not hugely soundproof. Housekeeping was a bit poor. Had to keep going down to reception for things the housekeeping didn’t top up e.g. milk, shower gel, even toilet paper!"

"The stay was absolutely amazing, very attentive staff and beautiful views from the restaurant/ swimming pool. However if you book a ‘city view’ room and you’re on the first floor, prepare to be woken up every morning at 06:30 by the towel/sheet delivery out the front of the hotel. Full disclosure, we complained and were offered to swap rooms if we moved everything by 12pm, but we had one night left and had booked a trip out so didn’t have time to move everything. "

"We stayed here for a rugby weekend, and found the location to be perfect. Short walk to the stadium, and very central to all other attractions in the town. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough. The restaurant on site is brilliant. Great set menu for dinner and good choice of wines and champagnes. Can not wait to visit again, maybe when the weather is a little warmer"

"I travel the world for a living and stay at many hotels. Not an active reviewer, but want to make sure I give my positive feedback for Okko Hotels Toulon. Impressive customer service and friendly staff - I LOVE ‘the club’ - it’s my morning coffee, my office, and truly enjoy the little Happy Hour in the evening with snacks, local wine and beer. Staff is extremely attentionate and scores high on personal service. Highly recommend this place as ‘the hotel’ downtown Toulon."

"It was a simple room, with few outlets but OK. The biggest problem was that I had a spectacular wipeout in the bathroom. It was partially my fault as I didn't use the towel bath mat, but the floor was extremely slippery as there was no separation between shower and the rest of the bathroom floor (no barrier to the water). I advised the hotel that they should coat the floor with some slip-resistance coating. When the WiFi didn't work the second day, the front desk gave me another network...

"It is basically a hostel. I have stayed in better accommodations for £35.73. I couldn't access my room as there was a vicious dog blocking the corridor for nearly 10 minutes and when I complained to the owner, he had a go at me. Never again!!! Stay away if you can!!"
