This property is beautifully maintained and the owner is easily accessible and very responsive. The village is lovely, with a local beach, a small market and several excellent restaurants.
It is an ideal place for children (of all ages). We will absolutely be back next summer.

We had a magical time staying here. The house was exceedingly clean when we checked in and Tre was a wonderful host. The perfect summer cottage to enjoy Sconset. We hope to return next summer!

Our stay at Roof Tree cottage was great. The little cottage has been nicely restored and updated. We fell in love with the little village of Sconset. Location is close to the bluff walk and Sankaty Golf Club.

We had the most wonderful stay at Rooftree last week. I travelled with my husband and 2-year old daughter. The house was beautiful, cozy, clean and full of all of the daily essentials we needed during our stay. It couldn’t have been a better location - a short walk to the market, beach, and a nice bike ride to Sankaty Light. The owner was easy to reach if needed and super accommodating. We were so sad to leave. Already dreaming of our return trip to Rooftree and Nantucket!

Quaint cottage in the middle of Sconset. Excellent location. Nice size, perfect for our family of 4. Owner was extremely responsive and easy to work with. Recent renovations, including air conditioning, made it very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time staying in Sconset and this cottage is right in the center of of it. It's about a 2 minute walk or 30 second bike ride from the market and the small center square and only a few minutes from the beach. The cottage is a couple hundred years old and was recently renovated by the owner who did a nice job with it while keeping the character of the property intact.
There were 5 of us who stayed and we found there to be plenty of room inside the house. 3 bedrooms, a small office, nice sized living room and kitchen/dining. Tre (property owner) was always responsive and helpful even taking the time a couple months ahead of my rental to remind me about booking the ferry at the moment they start taking reservations in order to secure a spot with my vehicle.
The house was well stocked with common items you would need and kept clean.
Good place to bring kids as they are able to roam freely in the neighborhood and to the store, beach, playground, etc.
I would definitely stay again!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at Roof Tree in the heart of Sconset! The house is very authentic and charming, yet provides all of the modern necessities needed for a family's week long stay. The location is absolutely perfect -- conveniently located within a short walking distance to all of Sconset's main attractions. We particularly enjoyed our quick morning walks to the Sconset Market for coffee and blueberry muffins! The owner was wonderful and extremely accommodating. He was a pleasure to communicate with, and when we had a question about an appliance, he was very responsive and stopped by to ensure everything was okay. We highly recommend Roof Tree for your Sconset stay! We hope to make it bACK!

This is a beautiful refurbished and updated old house in historic 'Sconset center with all the charm of the 18th century. It is well equipped with everything we needed for our week on Nantucket. The owner is nearby and when we needed a few lightbulbs, he responded immediately by showing up and putting them in. The location is perfect as it takes minutes to walk down to Sconset beach or the market, the beautiful Summer House and Chanticleer, as well as the must do bluff walk up to Sankaty Light. Though quaint and true to period, it is furnished very comfortably with all the modern amenities you need for a perfect vacation. If you are looking for a true 'Sconset experience, Rooftree is a great choice.

Rooftree is just as lovely and historical as advertised, with nicely modern amenities and amazing proximity to all of Sconset’s charms. The house is very well stocked with provisions (charcoal, spices, shampoo, soap, towels and other linens, etc.) and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great house in great condition. A/C is rarely needed in Sconset but was a nice addition on our arrival day. Updated bathrooms and good sized bedrooms. Nice little patio for relaxing and working the BBQ.
Washer/Dryer and dishwasher in good shape.
House feels bigger than it is.

My family rented this cottage this summer. We love it there and would recommend it to any family with children. The cottage is right in the middle of the village and despite the roads and houses being so close together, it was remarkably quiet. The garden across the way (part of the owner's property) was an added bonus as we grilled some nights and sat outside in the perfect weather. The cottage itself had all the modern amenities and we found the two full bathrooms to be very convenient with two pre-teen boys who love to play in the sand. The owner has renovated the majority of the historic cottage and has done a really lovely job.

Last summer we enjoyed amazing vacation at this home and we did not even search for another option when we booked our vacation this year. We felt right at home.
Perfect location. Two minutes walking distance from Sconset Market, the Café and a beautiful beach perfectly safe for children with seals just swimming around.
The owners are delighthful and very helpful.
We can't wait to come back next summer.

Even better than anticipated. This rental was clean and beautifully maintained. Owners were available and ready to accommodate every need.
The house is spacious and perfectly equipped.
A general store and small cafe are within easy walking distance, as is a gorgeous wavy beach. Perfect for people like us, who travel with a toddler and a newborn.
Just lovely!
Hope to go back as soon as possible.
