"The location is great. The hotel was quite old and rooms really small and not in great shape. We booked a room for 2 adults + 2 kids but it was not possible to fit beds for all. I do not know if this is a problem of the hotel or Expedia but such a small room should not be bookable for families. Breakfast was good, views are great. it was possible to rent a jacuzzi but otherwise there were no amenities. I would say that this is not a great fit for families. The staff was friendly."

"Nice propertyt, near the town supermarket. This is a must during one stays, specially when most restaurants close after the summer season. It is also very close to the lake side if you come to Abisko to catch a glimpse of the Nortern lights where you can just walk over and have one of the best viewing area. "Abisko Turiststation STF is a great place to stay. It's located close to the train station and offers a variety of rooms from hotel, to hostel, to cabins. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfect for us. The one item I will note is that you need to ethier bring your own sheets/sleeping bag or you can rent linnens from the hotel (much like a hostel). I am glad I reached out to them before we arrived so they could inform me of this as it doesn't seem to be listed on hotels.com....
