"Our stay in Amish country was nice. The cottage was clean and well decorated, but could use some updating. The location was nice and quiet, as it was not in the center of town. We did have issues with people accidentally trying to get into our room in the middle of the night and the fire alarm going off, very loudly and abruptly waking us a couple hours after we had gone to sleep. We still lived having a space that was just ours, not sharing a building or walls with other people. "

"The property was incredibly spacious. My wife and I only used one bedroom, but it could easily accommodate two or more couples. The hot tub area was lovely, and we enjoyed watching deer roam outside one of the large windows, which offered stunning views of the hillside and endless trees. However, finding the place was a bit challenging. It could benefit from a visible marker for nighttime arrivals, especially for first-time visitors. "My Daughter and I needed a fall getaway for some quiet time and this was perfect for a few days. It was very much like a small cottage. The second bedroom is on the 2nd floor and more geared for children but the first floor bedroom is very comfortable and both beds gave a great nights sleep. Beautiful kitchen and comfortable seating in the living room. We had a lovely time."

He gave us local recommendations, left us homemade cookies to enjoy and even let us check in a bit early before our tickets for Sight and Sound theatre which was close by. Not only was it a convenient 3-minute drive from the venue, but we were very close to downtown Lancaster and all the weekend festivities. Having our own private entry was a bonus due to our early flight home on check-out day. Catherine was quick to respond to any inquiries and was a gracious host. Would highly recommend this quaint apartment for your next stay!"

"Our stay at Betty’s house was absolutely wonderful! The pictures of the home do not do it justice!! The property is easy to find and so beautiful inside. We had 6 ladies on our shopping trip and there was so much space. Lots of space to all sit together on the sofa and chat. The property managers were friendly and easy to work with.
