Cedar Pine Villas - Quiet, 'Luxury & Comfort Rolled Into One'

A newly constructed complex located between Cable Beach and West Ridge. An area of New Providence conveniently located one block of West Bay Street, and 15 minutes from the Airport and Cable Beach hotels and casinos. You can also catch the #10 bus to and from downtown Nassau, or they can connect you to other buses to anywhere you would like to go.

The interior is completely brand new with granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms, beautiful porcelain tiled floors, solid pine doors, tray ceilings with recess lighting in living room area and the kitchen is furnished with new stainless steel appliances. At the end of the living room is a balcony to sit outside and catch the Bahamian breeze. We just got a back up generator just in case electricity goes off!

This is a newly constructed building between Cable Beach and WestRidge, an area of New Providence, conveniently located one block off West Bay Street, and fifteen minutes away from the airport, and all the Cable Beach hotels, restaurants and casino. The house is located about five minutes from three of our local beaches and park. You can also catch the #10 bus to and from downtown Nassau, or anywhere you would like to go. At Christmas time we have the local junkanoo festival, and through the summer months, June through August we have the goombay festival which is held at Arawak Cay. There is also various arts, crafts and local straw works at the Straw Market located downtown.

Neighborhood:: Cedar Pine Villas is located in a quiet neighborhood with friendly families. The area is safe and lighted at night. We are also located at the dead end of the corner, free from all disturbances.

Leisure & Dining:: Cedar pine Villas is located near approximately six Bahamian restaurants. At these eateries you can experience the best Bahamian cuisine at very affordable prices. Below is a list of a variety of Bahamian restaurants located nearby: West of Cedar Pine Villas is Nettie's Place, Poop Deck, Nesbitts, Traveller's Rest & Compass Point. Beautiful Bahamas getaway
Villa was very clean and well equipped with everything needed for our stay. The property is well maintained with a lovely pool; a tropical oasis right outside. The surrounding area is safe and within walking distance to the market, restaurants and beach. We really enjoyed Meze grill for dinner and Gordon's Bay was a beautiful beach. The hosts are superb! Very helpful with any questions we had. We highly recommend staying at this property its absolutely perfect for a Bahamian getaway.

Fantastic property close to beach
Elrena was a wonderful host. From picking us up from the airport, taking us to the supermarket, showing us nearby beaches and letting us stay an extra night because of a problem with our flight. She made sure there was everything we needed in the property, which was immaculate and very comfortable. She knew it was our son's birthday, so made a birthday banner for him and left cakes and a present for him. She also left numbers for taxis- we used Paula a few times who was very reliable and friendly! The property is in a residential area with a supermarket and restaurants nearby-10/15 min walk (we found a cut through which made it a 5 min walk). The pool area is great to relax around. There is a very small beach on the other side of the main road which we loved as it was deserted! Nassau is very easy to get to by bus -10 or 12b. Thank you again Elrena for being such a wonderful host!

We had a lovely stay at Elrena's home. The property was quiet, well appointed and in a lovely neighborhood in a super convenient location. Just a 5-7 minute walk to the bus stop and about 10 minutes to grocery stores and restaurants. It was a welcome change after our stay in the hustle and bustle of the Atlantis. Elrena took great care to make sure we arrived safely from the Atlantis to her home. Highly recommend and we can't wait to be back!

Stay here - trust me!
Elrena and her husband are amazing hosts! The property is immaculate inside and out. Everything you could possibly need is available. This was our second stay and it was just as wonderful as the last. Elrena goes above and beyond for each guest. We rented a car this time around and she still met us at the airport so we could follow her back to the property. Then she rode with us to the grocery store to make sure we knew where it was and how to get home. I can't say enough great things about the whole experience. Stay here and you will not be disappointed.

Mrs. Whyms is a superb host. She picked us up from airport, took us to the grocery store. The home is very nice and accommodating for your needs. The swimming pool is very nice. Very comfortable home away from home. I'm happy we stayed here. Walking to the bus line is about 3 blocks or so.

A great hideout for a nice break in the Bahamas!
Elrena is not just a VRBO Premier Host, she is a Super Duper Premier Host. We have not met any host as invested in making sure you enjoy your stay in a very beautiful spot. Cedar Pines Villa is exactly as described. It is spotless and well supplied. The kitchen had everything you need to prepare your own meals. The pool was refreshing and clean. Lots of information to make your visit even more enjoyable. We did not rent a car and made out just fine. Walked everywhere. Groceries, liquor and bus stop 10 minutes, beach 15 and great restaurants 20. Elrena thanks for being a great host. We really enjoyed our first visit to the Bahamas and we appreciated all the extras that made our visit so special! Cedar Pines is a great place to stay!

Definitely your home away from home
We had such a great comfortable visit. We felt taken care of by the hosts from the minute we booked until we checked out. The location was excellent (after getting a sense of where we were) We didn't have a car for the first few days but decided it was best as we had two young children. A car isn't necessary as there is a bus to take you into town or Nirvana Beach. The condo was fully stocked and was easy to prepare meals. We had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone.

Exactly what I was looking for. Elrena was very helpful and able to answer any questions. Location was a 10-20 minute walk from the bus line, grocery/liquor stores, pharmacy, and several restaurants. The unit had everything I needed for cooking and a pretty decent pool area.

I can't begin to say what an amazing experience we had staying at this property. The host Elrena and her husband were lovely and so helpful. The property was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. It was also conveniently located within a short walk to two food stores, restaurants, and the beach. We did not have a car so this was important. Elrena gave us great recommendations for everything. We will be back!!!

A Jewel!
Not only was the condo a jewel but so was Elrena, the owner. The condo was spacious, clean and secure. Elrena helped us with restaurants and grocery locations. In the condo, there was everything we needed from coffee to bottled water, to beach towels. The pool was just perfect. Elrena communicated with us every day to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. When we return to Nassau we will definitely make sure that we stay at Cedar Pine Villas with Elrena!

Cedar Pine Villas is Great
We really enjoyed staying at Cedar Pine Villas. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. The pool is awesome. It is located very close to Cable Beach, which was our favorite beach. Elrena and Rafe were very hospitable and helpful if we needed anything.

I almost feel sorry for anyone that does not rent this property. I was a bit nervous traveling to the Bahamas for the first time, but Ms. Elrena and her husband took great care of us and made it a great experience! The property is immaculate inside and out. Everything you could possibly need is provided, along with extras that I did not expect. We were given phone numbers to trusted (and friendly) taxi drivers and instructions on how to use the bus. The property is gated which made me feel very safe. Ms. Elrena will do everything she can to make sure you and your family have a wonderful time in Nassau! She truly made us feel like family and I cannot express how thankful I am to her!

Great time in a perfect space!
Loved this place and the owner Elrena and Raphael. The accommodations were clean, quiet, tastefully decorated and just as advertised! Thank you for lovely 3 nights of rest, recharging, and fun! This will not be our last visit! We walked to the Cable Beach and Sandyport Beach 10-15 min. There is a nice grocery shop 5 min walk away as well. We were especially happy with the security of the building and always felt safe (it’s a pretty nice neighborhood). I highly recommend staying at Cedar Pine, you will not regret it. Thanks for sharing your spot with us!

Elrena and her husband are wonderful people. My friend Kim and I had a week stay for a girls trip and they were so kind. The home is clean and has all you need, she provides you with so much. There were things we didn't even need to bring because we didn't realized they were provided. The pool, space, beds, safety were all excellent. Elrena gave us rides, made reservations for us, helped get us taxi's and checked in on us daily. We felt very safe walking to get coffee in the mornings, we made friends with a few neighbors along our route and even the local dog Red, he usually walked with us part of the way to get coffee. Starbucks is 0.7 miles away and you can take the allotment road the whole way. You won't regret staying here. A few island tips if anyone needs any: We took the #10 bus up and down Bay St to all sorts of different places, it was safe and the drivers were all very kind. To get to downtown (15 mins ride) was $2.00 We enjoyed dinners at Blue Sail, Twisted Lime and our fav was Spritz (all a 3 min drive away) We enjoyed Love Beach/Nirvana Beach and took the bus (Again only $2). Its $5 to get in and $5 to rent beach chairs if you want. They had food and drinks available to order. We miss Elrena and the Bahamas already

It was a wonderful and super clean property with really, our own personal pool. It was well-stocked and had all the amenities of home. But the truly amazing thing was the kindness and friendship of the owners Elrena and her husband. They really went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. It is located in a very safe part of cable beach. We went there to do the shark dive at the end of the island. Whatever we needed Elrena gave us great suggestions, picked us up at the airport, drove us to the grocery store, made dinner reservations for us, took us to the straw market for souvenirs, and took us back to the airport.

Enjoyable stay
My family and I, including our 7 month old stayed at Cedar Pines for three weeks. Elrena was great to communicate with - very prompt both before and during our stay. The house was clean and spacious - we made good use of the kitchen. Elrena also had baby equipment - pack and play, tub, and high chair which were all great! There’s 2 grocery stores about a 10-15 min walk from the house. Due to recent construction you can’t go through the back to the grocery store which would be likely otherwise be a 3 minute walk, but the walk is very manageable, just longer than it once was. Neighbourhood was safe & quiet. We frequented two beaches in walking distance since we didn’t rent a car - sandy port beach was about a 20-25 minute walk and a beach behind the Marley resort was just about 10 minutes walk. The pool was professionally maintained and lovely! There is some construction of new homes going on behind the house next to the pool but I would expect that would be over very soon. There were a few days that were noisy due to this. Overall we were quite pleased with our stay and from the moment we arrived felt very at home in the space. It was our first trip with a baby so this was very appreciated!! Elrena was super helpful also in providing a drive to/from the airport and showed myself and my parents around the area. Her and Raphael were very accommodating! Thank you!

No beach access without a CAR
Host was so kind and helpful but here are some truth items to consider when booking. Some of you these things won't bother you but we were very upset. Property was fantastic. Host was awesome. Getting to the Property you have to drive through a sketchy part where you WILL observe animal abuse....we cried....all of us. If that doesn't bother you then book it. You have to have a car the beach and stores ARE NOT in walking distance. Plus you are at risk for being attacked by the poor animals that have no food and water that are running in the streets. Also locals like to bring their dogs to breed the other dogs. Devastated does not even touch it.
