Perfect family spot

As a family of six that stayed a week we loved the place. The layout is unique with plenty of bedrooms and beds. The lagoon area, ocean access and pool were amazing. Walking distance to Sandyport shops and dining. Lamont (driver) and Denaldo (chef) were both great. We’d happily go back and do it all over again.

Weekend stay at Panorama

I highly recommend staying at Panorama Villa, the ocean front space is absolutely beautiful. My entire family was able to fit perfectly and everyone enjoyed the property. We cooked family dinners some nights, and were happy to find plenty of dishware for cooking and serving. The host, Errol, was very friendly and easy to work with. He also had the caretaker, Stanley, welcome us upon arrival to show us the place and provide check-in instructions. Stanley was also a phone call away whenever we had questions. Lastly, I’ll share that I also used the space for my wedding! I had the vision of a backyard wedding and actually read through previous reviews on here where others discussed having small weddings at Panorama. I also saw pictures on Instagram of those weddings and was totally sold on the idea. So not only is this an amazing spot to stay for vacation, but to host events as well!

Awesome place

Beautiful view of the ocean! We had a family of 10 (all adults) and the house was large enough to accommodate all of us very well. The owner was very nice and was very helpful getting us reservations with our boat tours. Our driver Errol recommended (Mr.Nixon) was very knowledgeable of the island and where to go and what to do. He was on time to pick us up each and Every time. I would highly recommend using Mr Nixon for transport… it was very private place but could go to the resorts and spend the day there and then return back to house for peace and quite. If you are looking for a true Bahamas experience this is the spot to go! Thank you to Errol and Mr. Nixon for a wonderful time!

The Villa was a great place for a peaceful retreat, and have lots of fun as a family.

Our family converged on the Villa to celebrate my youngest son's 30th Birthday! We enjoyed our time together and had lots of fun! Thank you Errol and Dannon. I'm sure if we needed it, Dario could surely have assisted us to arrange whatever we would have needed. Everything seemed to flow well and we appreciated the extra help that we got at the end of our stay when we couldn't go home due to snow storm Jonas. I think that the Villa offered a little bit of everything for everyone. We also liked that we were close to the bus line and could grab that into town whenever we needed it. Having adult children that wanted to do different things at different times, the bus gave everyone that freedom. I would recommend this wonderful vacation home to anyone for any occasion!!

Wonderful stay!

I booked this property for my 30th birthday and it was the best decision. The house has the most amazing view and a pretty large plunge pool that is bigger than the pictures make it seem, so we all for comfortably. The public beach was super close and there was hardly anyone there so it felt private. The location was great and we were able to walk to multiple quality restaurants and even a little store for random things like beer, coffee, toothpaste, etc. There is also is a grocery store close by. Lamont (driver), Sid (house manager) and Errol (owner) were all responsive professional and helpful when we had questions or needed assistance. They answered questions for us months in advance so that we could plan ahead. We went to the Baha Mar resort for a couple of hours and were so lucky to head back to our quiet and private oasis. I would recommend this property based off cleanliness, location, and overall experience. Thank you to the staff that took such great care of us!

Look No Further!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS HOUSE

First of all, this is the most amazing house right on the beach with a private heated pool and private beach! The area is safe! We walked to the grocery store and caught the bus into town several times with no problems at all and super cheap. The house was clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Atlantis is only 15 minutes away, downtown was only 10 minutes away and the bus ride was so much fun! The locals know how to have a good time :) All of the surrounding restaurants were affordable and fantastic ambiance. I was greeted at the airport with the sweetest guys ever and had the best bachelorette party anyone could ask for. They were very accommodating and provided us with anything we needed from transportation to groceries. I will be back again very soon! I look forward to booking this incredible villa again. The pictures do not do it justice so if you are hesitant in book this villa don't be!! Look no further!!!

Great for groups!

We had a group of 14 adults stay at Panorama for my 50th birthday. I booked the trip 9 months ahead of time and immediately connected with the host Errol. Errol was super patient with me and my 75 questions prior and made sure we had everything we needed once we arrived and even thereafter. He even got some cornhole boards for us to use. The rooms (except the master, which is huge) were a little tight but were clean and comfortable. The outdoor setting and views are spectacular. The locations is great too. Very close to the airport and you’re within walking distance of 3 bar/restaurants and the beach so we barely needed to drive anywhere. Errol also referred Chef Denaldo Bain who was fantastic. Not only was his food delicious, but he might possibly be the nicest human being on the planet! He got all the breakfast supplies and drinks for us ahead of time as well as restocked as needed. We wanted for nothing. I even requested a custom lobster dinner and he nailed it. We never hired a chef before and I’m sure this has ruined us for always needing one now. It was soooo nice not to have to worry about cooking. He even cleaned up! Can’t say enough about our new friend Denaldo. Lastly, Errol referred us to a driver, Lamont Nixon, who was there whenever we needed. He didn’t say a whole lot but he did what we needed when we needed it so thumbs up to Lamont as well. Thanks to Errol, Denaldo & Lamont, this was the trip of a lifetime for us.

Wonderful family stay at Panorama Villa

We have just returned home from a wonderful 5 night stay at Panorama Villa. Our family consisted of 5 adults, 15 year old and 11 yr old. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy, especially outside, it really is what makes this home so special. If you love to wake up to the sound of the waves crashing outside this place is for you. I can never get bored of that sound, or the endless hours watching the ocean. Your own private hideaway. The master bedroom is huge, and leads out to more outdoor space. Each room is nice on its own merits. We were all comfortable and never felt on top of each other. Wi-Fi is strong, which was handy with 7 of us often on at the same time. Nearby is a variety of good restaurants, all within an easy walk. We went into Sandyport Resort a couple of times, but one of our favourite meals was at the no frills Nesbitts just a couple of mins walk. A white sandy beach is either side of the villa, it was quite breezy for our week but in calmer times would be a lovely place to relax. We had an amazing time on the Oasis Ocean 007 charter boat tour to Rose Island and the swimming pigs. Also connected with Errol so there is a discount if you stay at the villa. A really good 4 hr tour ending up at their private beach club, we had the best time. Crew were loads of fun and made our trip! Property Manager Nisha looks after you very well as does Lamont (driver) and housekeeper Sydney. A great team, very responsive. Press book now, you won’t regret it!

Spectacular setting

First and foremost, the setting is as spectacular as the pictures and description indicates. Great view of the water from the house, the deck and the pool. The little private lagoon is indeed very private and when the tide goes out, you have your own mini beach. The house has obviously been designed to maximize sleeping quarters. There's not much open, living space, but this is the Bahamas, so you're probably not going to spend much time indoors. Still, if you have a large party there are likely to be times that this house feels a bit cramped. If you plan to rent for an extended time period and/or plan on preparing many meals at the house, you will find the house to be a bit challenging. It has all of the basics in the kitchen, but little more. In addition, the lack of a dishwasher and garbage disposal is a bit inconvenient. However, if you are only preparing an occasional meal, this will be no big deal. There's 2 pretty good restaurants (both on the water) within walking distance. Dario was able to arrange for about anything we needed. He was around when we needed him, but stayed away when we didn't, which was great. We chose to utilize the taxi that Dario arranged for us, rather than the bus; but there is a bus stop about a block from the house if you want to take that option. Overall, this house is a great retreat for any group that just wants to get away for awhile. We would definitely rent this house again.

Location is amazing, house is not perfect

August 2018, two families, 12 people total. The outside spaces on this house are amazing. The pool was small but great for cooling off. The "private beach" was fantastic, and the snorkeling right in front of the house was great. The views and the sunsets are perfect. Bring your snorkels! There's almost no shade but the house is always close by with cold drinks in the fridge. Next to the pool there are steps down to a cave in the coral that fills with water at high tide and drains at low tide. Really neat. The steps down into the ocean provide easy access for snorkeling. It's hard to describe but there's a walkway to a small sandy beach on an inlet that is technically off the property but not easily accessible to anyone else, so it's basically a private lagoon beach. Fantastic for kids to swim and plan in a secluded ocean area. The house itself is just OK. The couch needs to be replaced, the kitchen is poorly equipped, and we had some air conditioner issues. The homeowner worked hard to get the A/C units all working during our stay, and after a few days they were successful on all but one. One unit was completely replaced so this should be corrected for future renters. The owner (Errol) was very friendly and very responsive to requests, and also really helpful with advice on things to do, transportation, and restaurants. The property is in a very quiet location, set back from the road, but it was still easy to grab a bus into town or to the grocery store. There are a few neighbors close by that were always very friendly. There's a tall gate for added security. Assuming the A/C is fixed, with a new couch, some more pots & pans, knives, glasses, and kitchen towels, the house would be as great as the location. Tip: nobody drinks the tap water, so plan to buy bottled water from the store. It's about $1.50 a gallon. Tip: we decided not to get a rental car for our group of 12, it was so easy to grab a bus. Buses run until 7:00 each night.

Perfect wedding retreat

This property was the perfect location for a wedding and family gathering. The location was great, the views were amazing and the house was great. The available driver made getting our large group around the island with ease. This property made for a perfect wedding week!

The Obstacle Course

Traveled with family for a Family event. The pictures online were why we chose this property. The description of the property could have been more transparent. There are many rooms with several steps that lead either up or down. The bedroom off the kitchen smells like mold (mold growing outside the window near AC) The floors are very slippery in the living room and from the stairs that leads down to the additional bedrooms off the kitchen. There is no transition from the kitchen to the living room, several people trip and almost fell (need non-slip strips or carpet). The floors in the kitchen are made of cobblestone (not comfortable for long term standing). The pots and pans need to be upgraded. The living entertaining area is very small. The parking space could be paved or leveled foe easier access. The positives about the property: There are ample beds to sleep at least 20 guests. The view is FABULOUS. The AC in each room keeps the house cool. The 2nd and 3rd floor outside entertaining areas are awesome. Nice home but It won't be my first choice for a beach rental 🤗

Amazing stay!!

The property is so gorgeous and spacious. With 10 girls we had plenty of room and then some! The infinity pool was a favorite for all- as well as the little alcove that led down to the ocean. Errol was an absolutely fantastic host - accommodating and kind. We would recommend this stay to anyone!

Epic!, Errol is a Legend

Four generations of family had come from all over the US to celebrate my parents with a week at the beach. Panorama is the perfect property in a perfect location. Errol is a gracious and kind individual who translates that into making every detail of your vacation perfect. Additionally, far beyond what you receive from a top flight concierge, Errol has great relationships with everything on the island to give you a true Bahama experience. After spending a week at Errol's Panorama we spent 3 days at a conference at he Four Star Grand Hyatt Baha Mar resort, which was wonderful, but I wish we had gone their first because Errol edges them out for a better experience. If you own a VRBO I recommend you rent from Errol to see how he does it.

My experience was simply the best. Errol is an amazing host and he even met us personally. The place was amazing and above my expectation. Errol was also a phone call away and always show up. Water at your doorstep

What an awesome time we had here. We’d wake up walk out to the ocean and enjoy a swim, then snorkel in the afternoon, and hang out in what feels like a private cove at night. Errol, the owner, was great. He communicated and helped us with our plans. He even runs 007 charters and worked with us on our excursion plans. I won’t say the house doesn’t have its quirks but the beds were comfortable, the AC worked great, and we all had our own bathrooms. It had multiple levels so it could be tricky for some but the view from the 3rd floor outdoor balcony was awesome. Spend some time in the infinity pool with a glass of rum punch enjoying the ocean and a bonfire and you have the perfect end to an evening in the Bahamas.

Girls getaway

We had a great time - Errol was friendly and welcoming as soon as we arrived, and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is spacious, clean and great A/C! The little private grotto you can walk down to makes it. Would stay again!

We came to the Bahamas with my family to get married the house is average not what we expected in pictures posted on site and not handicap accessible so if you have family members that are handicapped this home is not for you however Errol the owner is a super cool guy and go’s above and beyond to make sure you are happy during your stay we actually had our wedding at his family’s beach house because we were unhappy he let us use the facility which was so beautiful and his family took us out on a awesome boat tour which was so relaxing I would say. 3/5 for our stay and as always the Bahamas was such a relaxing enjoyment!

As the other reviewers have said, the view is spectacular. BUT BE WARNED: The house and property are in UTTER DISREPAIR. I was hoping to be able to attach photos to this review to better inform other travelers, but it does not appear to be possible. The listing photos are a complete misrepresentation of reality. Just a few examples: the lawn chairs are not the ones in the photos. They are broken, there are about 4 cushions to share among all of them and they are so gross and ripped up that you won't want to use them, anyway. There are no brightly colored Adirondack chairs anywhere on the property, and certainly not at the "lagoon." That beautiful sandy beach area? It has more cigarette butts than it does sand. The string lights that suggest the quinisential beach evening? I counted four working lightbulbs. That infinity pool? The workmanship is so poor that it feels like the entire platform is going to fall into the ocean. The inside is equally as bad. The kitchen is awful - the water dispenser and ice machine are not functioning, the stove is missing knobs (so you get to worry that you are silently being gassed with carbon monoxide poisoning), all surfaces are disgustingly filthy and sticky. Keeping up with the ants is a full-time job. Suffice it to say that this house has not had a proper cleaning since circa 1968. The fuse/breaker blew while we were there, (most likely due to the fact that there is only one working outlet in the kitchen, so turn the lights off if you are going to use the toaster.) The bedrooms and bathrooms are the same - we were so grossed out to sleep in the beds and you'll want to take a shower after taking a shower, if you are fortunate enough to have hot water, which was in short supply. The only way I know to describe the property next door (that you have to walk/drive right by when you come and go) is it looks like a war-zone. If it were in the US, it would most certainly be condemned. There is nonstop traffic at this house, large groups of people loitering, trash everywhere, a pit bull chained to outside of the house... We certainly didn't feel safe here, despite the 12 ft. chain link fence with razor wire atop it that runs along the side of the property. Sure, there is an alarm system in the house, but if you can get it to arm, you are a lot more talented than we are. Hate to be so critical, but I wish someone else had been.
