I have stayed at other historic homes in Natchez and Dunleith is by far the best! Love this place and will return!! Our room was beautiful, modern and extremely clean! The food at the Castle restaurant is the BEST I have ever had. Fabulous anniversary for us!!!
Absolutely loved our stay here. Felt like a true Southern Belle. Our room was beautiful. We sat on the rocking chairs on the second floor balcony quite a lot and just enjoyed the luxurious atmosphere. It was very peaceful and quiet. The staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the house tour.
It was a beautiful place to stay. The room was clean and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Dunleith and learning about its history was an added bonus. We will definitely stay there again when in Natchez.
Friendly staff. Beautiful property with an excellent restaurant. The room was beautiful and big. This is the first place we have stayed that was extremely quiet. Highly recommend!!
we found the house beautiful to look around in we did not sleep in the house itself but in the building next door those rooms also fit in with the place where you spend the night.
It’s a very nice location als for weddings.
Truly a step back in time! Stayed in the main house and it was absolutely stunning. Not the most comfortable bed, but it was authentic. Clean updated bathroom with great shower. Can easily spend a whole evening exploring and no need the leave the property. Will absolutely be back!
The Castle Restaurant was excellent, food, service, and venue. The one staff person who checked me in and out was great. The condition of the property is deteriorating and will continue to go down in value if not maintained. It’s really disappointing that the owners have just put this property on the shelf!
And lastly, a property of this magnitude should at least serve a continental breakfast. It’s very evident that there’s a problem.
Dunleith is an interesting, nice antebellum mansion. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar were closed the two nights we stayed there and it is a mile or so from downtown.
Very courteous staff. Comfortable bed, nice linens, clean room, clean bathroom. Photographs do not do this property justice. You just have to stay to experience all its grandeur. Everything as advertised and more. Would certainly stay again.
This was a great place to stay! Beautiful property and very well maintained! The front desk staff was awesome and gave us some great suggestions on where to eat. Highly recommend!
The Castle pub food and service were excellent. The Mansion House looked beautiful from outside, but our room was not clean, the TV was small with a faulty remote, the safe didn't work and the bed was old and uncomfortable. Reception staff were helpful but there was no housekeeping unless requested and everything shut at 9pm.
Beautiful setting and comfortable room. The restaurant is wonderful.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
No blankets, when the weather was freezing, no breakfast, reception in the morning did not knew the place, just the reception.
Beautiful place with outstanding architecture
The property was extremely beautiful and the service was all around fantastic, I just would like there to be a few repairs. Also, please tell guest to be mindful that due to the property being well over 100 years old, that the walls are thin and that sound travels. I know it is not the fault of the hotel for noisy guests, but if it is 10pm and you're on the shared courtyard balcony arguing with your soon to be ex-wife, please walk further away from the main building and take your phone off speaker; nobody wants to hear about your divorce process when we're trying to sleep.
