"Every year the ladies in our family pick a weekend in December to travel somewhere and see Christmas lights. This year we went to Natchitoches, LA for their Christmas Lights Festival. We stayed at A&A Lakehouse and we so happy we did! The location was perfect (close to downtown), clean, plenty of room for the seven of us and the host was so nice and very responsive. We plan on coming back for the 100 anniversary of the Christmas Festival and will MOST definitely try to book this property...

"The house was clean and had all the amenities listed. The beds are comfortable and we all slept well. The house is uniquely decorated which made our stay even more lovely. Location is a short drive to all area attractions. We had a problem with DVD player and the owner was super responsive. Highly recommend staying here."

"I traveled with my spouse and 2 kids for a 4H competition in the area and came across this gem. The house and property are beautiful as is the art work throughout. Mr. Wilburn was an awesome host. After the competition, my family and I went to the Mansfield and Pleasant Hill battlefields which were just a short drive from the house. I will definitely be staying again the next time we find ourselves in the area."

"This is exactly the type of property we were hoping for when we booked it. It is located in a very quiet country setting on the river front, but is still only about a fifteen minute drive to the downtown historic district of Nachitoches. There is so much to see and do, not to mention the great food choices at the local restaurants. We only had a couple of questions before our trip and the owners were very quick to respond and also were very welcoming for our pets. A great getaway. Highly...
