This was my second time staying at this property. I enjoyed my stay. Good people hard working staff very helpful! I will return. I always enjoy kicking it with the locals and people who have been coming here for years. I stayed garden side. 7 mile beach and bar/restaurant right across the street. I recently stayed at White Sands Negril for three nights, and overall, it was a good experience. The property has a relaxed vibe, and was well kept. The beach, though located across the main road from my room, was beautiful, clean, and never felt too crowded, allowing for a truly peaceful escape. The room itself was comfortable; but it did not have a microwave nor a television. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only real downside was that they didn’t accept Apple Pay or the Apple Card, which was unexpected and a bit inconvenient since I had planned on using those for my room. It would be great if they could incorporate these payment options in the future, as it would make transactions much more convenient for guests who prefer digital payments. Despite this small hiccup, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend White Sands Negril for a laid-back, authentic Jamaican beach experience.

Surrounding area towards the town was shady and very challenging to pass through. One would think the Tourism Department for Negril would address the scenic aspect of our journey if traveling from the South Coast. Leaving via the north coast was a bit more pleasant.

The room I booked on the site was not the beach front property I saw on the site. In fact, I was checked into a room that was dusty and smelled like it had not been opened in a while. It was reported to the front desk on the following morning but no attempts were made to rectify the situation. There was no tv, kettle nor room phone to contact the front desk. One of the burglar bars was also broken off the window. I was not allowed to take any of the towels from the room to go to the beach across the road. "Beach towels" came at an additional cost, however, the beach was nice. The sand was even, water was calm and somewhat shallow. The on property games shed was dusty but the pool was clean. Additionally I was informed by the front desk that my room would not be cleaned for the entire duration of my stay. On the morning of checkout I was awakened by staff using the lawnmower right outside my door. This was jarring as I made plans to sleep in before check out but was unable to do so because of the noise. Ironically, they stopped using the lawnmower as soon as i got up and started removing my belongings from the room. In general, the property left much to be desired and was not what i expected.

We just got back from staying at the White Sands Negril. It was a small hotel which I don't mind at all. Our room was on the beachside closer to the street. The room was quite small compared to the look of it online. The rooms do not have TVs which we knew ahead of time and were not worried about that. Afterall, we are not there to sit in the room and watch TV. I did request 2 twin beds, but instead got a queen bed. We were only at this hotel for 2 days passing through so it wasn't that big of a deal. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small and not much space to put your toiletries. The air conditioner worked very well in our room and kept it very cool. Great beach area with plenty of beach chairs to use. The restaurant had excellent food. We love ackee & saltfish and had that for breakfast and the food was so fresh and tasted the best out of all the places we ate at. The bar was great with specials everyday on different drinks. Good service and friendly staff. Overall, our stay was good. I would definitely stay here again, but maybe ask for an upgraded room.

It was very clean; I clean the rooms with bleach and alcohol before touching anything and there was no trace of dirt in the floor, the dressers, the beds, or the bathroom. I just wish there was daily service and enough linen to take more than one shower a day
