Description
This larger and very spacious modern 3 bedroom apartment is currently only available as either a one or two bedroom rental for single or multiple nights. The only way you could get any closer to the ocean would be to stay on a boat.
This breath taking western front corner unit is totally unique within the Bright Point complex in that it has two absolute water front verandas and being on the ground floor, your own fenced exclusive use yard with ocean front and harbor side walkway direct access.
No matter the weather conditions you can enjoy the outdoors with the choice of two verandas to relax on, offering either uninterrupted views of the Coral sea or the Nelly Bay Harbor.
From your private yard you unlike anybody else in the complex have a gate allowing access to the harbor side walkway and lookout. The seabed in front of your unit is covered with natural coral and teaming with tropical fish with the occasional turtle, dugong and even whales spotted. This is one of the only four only units in the complex with accessible ocean frontage.
Your yard is also where the resident Rock Wallabies come for dinner. Whilst lounging back on either of your two patios soaking up the atmosphere, with a line in the water if you like, you can enjoy their company whilst they graze on your lawn and eat the pellets we supply for you to feed them. All you have to do is top up their water bowl and for a treat you may like to give them some diced carrot or apple.
Pleasant sea breezes make the award winning Bright Point complex noticeably cooler than other Island locations in the warmer summer months and with this unit having two huge concertinaing doorways on both the Southern and Western patios, you have complete control of all natural air flows.
This apartment has also had the complete air-conditioning system removed and upgraded with an upsized super quiet modern system for your personal comfort.
Modern Tassie Oak and leather furnishings accompanied by all the latest appliances and entertainment systems give you all the fittings and comforts expected in this premium standard accommodation. The main bedroom with its waterfront bath and en-suite has a Queen size bed, room two has two King singles, all with quality linen supplied.
The complex itself has four breath taking pools, three on the waters edge and one roof top, all with separate air-conditioned gyms.
All guests staying at unit 4101 will receive a $200 discount off the vessel charter cost on any inner reef and beyond- game, sport or bottom fishing trips and or Great Barrier Reef adventure experiences on our luxury 50 foot Riviera Charter vessel "Utopia". We also offer a discount on private two hour plus Island cruising trips for yourselves and your friends.
If wishing to bring your own boat for the period of your stay we have a pontoon available for rent at $20 per night (for vessels up to 10m) in the Marina and within direct eye shot of your apartment.
Magnetic Island has countless attractions to view, walk, swim and enjoy when you eventually manage to drag yourselves away from your unit.
This Island is a place once visited you'll just want to keep coming back to.

Perfect little getaway
This is a perfect little location overlooking the ocean and the ferry/marina. The apartment is very private with great outdoor and indoor areas to enjoy the beautiful surrounds. Very close to shops/cafes etc and all you need is within walking distance. We highly recommend this apartment as a place to stay and will definitely be back in the future.

We stayed 5 nights at this lovely apartment, great position in the complex, 4 pools to use and great water views. The yard that gets the afternoon sun and the rock wallabies gather to get a feed and sun themselves. Close to ferry, buses, supermarket and bottle shop. Clear instructions from the host to enter the property. l would recommend this property to anyone

What a surprise
The property was very nice but we had great difficulty getting the induction stove top to work. We rang the owner and he couldn’t help us either. Also the instructions for finding the property were very convoluted. We asked for directions at reception and they offered help very begrudgingly

Making Maggie memories
Absolute perfect location and views to die for. Central to shops and to go exploring. Walking distance to a lot of places otherwise public transport was a great way to get around. People were super friendly and helpful. Our beautiful apartment was spacious, and the apartment was well equipped to whip up something or anything we wanted. Great Spot at Nelly Bay
The accommodation is in a well maintained secure block. It is very close to all amenities, restaurants, shops and supermarket. All of these are in walking distance. SOS seafood is excellent and just down the rod.

We were very happy with the position and quality of the venue but a few little things need attention. The BBQ was unusable due to rust and no clean. We cooked and found NOT having lights above the cook top annoying. Also no WIFI available. These are little things but would just make the difference.

Tom and Kaye made every easy, from collecting the keys to notifying us of any issues. They provided everything we needed to know ahead of time so we didn’t even need to ask any questions! This property is in an a fabulous position, ocean / mountain/ harbour views , privacy. Lovely front yard area to relax and a pool metres away. The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed for our 8 day stay , Tom was a great host and let us have a late checkout. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing Location
Very good property, which is right on the waters edge with rock wallabies in the back yard, which is great for kids. Views from most rooms including the shower and bath in the main. Central to everything and arrive of the ferry and check straight in. Able to put in bags at 10.30am which allowed us to make more of the first day. Washing machine didn't work but could speak to owner, machine fault not theirs so can look past that. Will stay again when back up in Townsville.
