Penthouse Palace is situated in the vibrant heart of Nelson Bay, Penthouse Palace is perfectly located on the doorstep of Nelson Bays town centre, marina, boutique shops, cafes, and restaurants. Leave the car behind, as only a few minutes stroll away are the booking centres and departure marinas for dolphin swims, dolphin & whale cruises, outer island & harbour cruises, as well as swimming beaches, diving, snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, boat & jet ski hire, parasailing, fishing charters, bike hire, waterfront parks and BBQ's, and waterfront play equipment.

Views, glorious views! Penthouse Palace has lovely views of the blue waters of spectacular Port Stephens. Relax and unwind while you take in the splendid vista of the harbour, headlands, and town, from almost every room.

Private rooftop heated pool and spa! - Have exclusive, private use of your very own pool and heated spa on your opulent rooftop terrace. Take a relaxing dip, or supervise the kids swimming from the convenience of your own personal pool and spa.

Your private rooftop terrace, with private pool and heated spa, also is home to a huge stainless steel outdoor kitchen/bbq. The terrace is impeccably furnished to ensure your comfort and relaxation. Kick back with a drink and soak up the sun's rays on the single or double wicker sun lounges.

The inside of Penthouse Palace is equally well appointed with all the luxuries you'd expect. Your comfort is assured all year round courtesy of ducted air-con. The large kitchen is fully equipped and exudes quality, with Caesar stone bench tops and top appliances. The lounge area boasts a combination of a 7 seat corner lounge, 2 individual feature chairs and a sofa, which accommodates 11 guests in individual comfort. The lounge has a 70 inch LED TV and there's also a TV in the master, second and third bedrooms, so there's a private place for each couple or guest to retreat to.

The master King bedroom complete with WIR has an ensuite with bath, as does the main bathroom, perfect to soak in after a hard day of sightseeing. *Please note baths are soaking tubs and not spas* The 2nd Queen bedroom also enjoys an ensuite and bedrooms 3 & 4 have King beds. Even parking is plentiful and convenient - with 2 car spaces in the secure ground floor car park, complete with lift access.

PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only.

BOND Penthouse Palace has a refundable bond of $1500 that is payable with the balance of your accommodation and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.

LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality white linen. Beach/pool towels are an additional $6 per towel to hire. Doonas with decorative covers, blankets and pillows are also supplied.

ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 8 adults. There is a sofa bed that will be added to accommodate guests 9 & 10 (children only) for an additional $100, total maximum 10 guests.

Sofa bed can be added for an extra $100 (children only).

Additional costs when booking:
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.
Beach/pool towels are $8per towel hire/ per booking.

CANCELLATIONS - Booking Fee is not refundable ($100 to $140). Please refer to terms and conditions for full cancellation policy.

NO NOISE - The property is in a quiet residential area which is noise sensitive. Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond.

NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

Girls weekend
We had a great time exploring Nelson bay. The hike up mount tomaree was breathtaking, local food was yummy, the shops were fun to browse through. Everything was an easy walking distance. The stay was incredibly rejuvenating and stress free. We loved the pool and spa, views were top notch, beds comfy and the house had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing place
Absolutely amazing beautiful place. Leaving/ dining and kitchen awesome the only things that was a concern was the glass table it lifts up and the oven was hard to work out need instructions. All bedrooms can not fault at all. The outdoor area spectacular views amazing only thing half the jets worked in the spa and the lights didn’t come on up stairs which made it hard to enjoy at night.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our fourth time here in as many years, the location is unbeatable and the layout and broad facilities of the penthouse are great. We have noticed over the years that the provisions inside need an update. E.g. for a place that can sleep up to 8 or more, there should be enough mugs, cups, wine glasses etc. we needed to request a new toaster while we were there (which was promptly delivered thank you) but generally things are getting a bit tired.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The position of the property and it amenities are outstanding. However housekeeping requires attention. Food and dust piles under furniture (lounge) Floor and bathroom bare minimum cleaning done Taps and light switches broken, Bbq left in a disgusting mess and even after our host cleaned it we were put off and didn't use it. Toilet seats are wobbly, toilet roll holders broken and toilet rolls slide off. Small bugs on kitchen surfaces. For the amount I paid expected better standard. The lounge is full of stained and the cushions were filthy unable to sit on. Table top outside required a scrub. TV kept going out, the fridge needs a new seal, ashtray on balcony filled with cigarettes, shower screens dirty with soap scum, and the kettle filthy unable to use. bbq switch not working.We would have rebooked for next Xmas but **** NO!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spa baths don't function. Hot tub only had two jets working. Have video and photo evidence as they repeatedly deny this. Place is neglected, musty,dusty, filthy lounge, mould on the window sill in one of the rooms. Agency don't do anything to bring the place back to what it should be for the money you pay. We left after it was quite obvious they weren't going fix the hot tub all week even though they reckon its inspected weekly. Bollocks. We left on the 2nd day and got a refund from Air BnB as they agreed the hosts were in violation of the agreement. Stay at Port Stephens will bend over backwards (not for you) to keep the the facade going instead of just forcing the owner to fix the property and all of its amenities. More excuses than a politician. Please look elsewhere, avoid this agency and save your money. Don't say I didn't warn you

Reviewer Comments: Check in was smooth and easy , the views from the rooftop are amazing , close to all amenties and very spacious apartment , however the cleanliness leaves alot to be desired , there was food scraps and bits of toys from a game board under the couches from the previous occupants , crumbs on the couch, spiderwebs in bedrooms and bathroom , dust all over the kitchen cupboards , dirt / mud on the wrap around balcony and weeds everywhere , toilet seat that was broken ! I would recommend that you hire a different cleaning company as I can see this beautiful apartment being ruined if you do not up keep and maintain this property as it deserves

2022 Girls Weekend
Out of almost 20 years of having g a weekend away with friends, this would have to be the best place we have stayed at for location. Parked our cara and didne need them again until we left and the apartment itself was just perfect. Can't wait to rebook next year.

Reviewer Comments: We booked the property for the heated pool and spa of which did not work for half the period of our stay. It took a lot of time up on calls and emails to get it fixed. The bbq and deck outside was very dirty and the place felt a little run down. It was ok but not what we were expecting from the photos.
