"12 of us stayed for 3 nights, celebrating an 80th birthday. A perfect place for a family get together. 6 teenage kids were so happy with the pool table, foosball, the huge TV with the comfy couch for watching movies, and the fire pit. Plus the huge flat lawn for playing games. The kitchen is well equipped, the views are amazing, and the outdoor Adirondack chairs are perfect for around the fire. "It's a great house for a large family or group of friends. We had so much fun exploring the area and hanging out playing games and enjoying the views. We did ziplining, caving and hot springs nearby, rented a pontoon boat for a day on the water and there were still things that we wanted to do but ran out of time. I guess we'll have to come back next year. The golf courses nearby looked amazing."

"This was probably one of the best places I have stayed at. Amazing location in Nelson, a quick walk to get downtown, the store, and coffee. The view was incredible, and a very cozy place to settle down at the end of the day. The host provides small touches at the house- such as local organic items that made it 10/10 experience. The host was very responsive, and easy to communicate with. Will definitely return! "

"Owner Corey lives next door, was very helpful, and came over to introduce us to his place. One of our party of 4 slept on the sofabed, which was comfortable but in the main living space - not an issue for us. The location neighborhood is a bit unusual, but fine, and a few minutes drive from downtown Nelson. We would stay at Corey's place again."

We loved staying here and the details that were put into the house and property are done with real care and intention. "Great property. Clean and spacious. Lots of things for the kids to do. The zipline was a huge hit. Hot tub was amazing and very clean. Was right beside some incredible mountain biking. There was also a fantastic running path right down the road that dogs can run off leash. The house itself was perfect. Lots of room for the kids to play and sleep comfortably. The ping pong table was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again. Probably one of the best houses we have ever rented on VRBO."

"A unique vintage residence to stay at near Nelson BC. Spacious - we liked that bedrooms were on the corners of the house to give some privacy. 2.5 bathrooms were handy as well. "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It is a lovely walk downhill to downtown. The hot tub in the garden was a real treat to relax in after a long drive. At the apartment we had ample space and everything we needed was there including laundry facilities. I would happily stay here again if we are ever in the area. "I’ve stayed here before and just love the location - easy to walk everywhere and right in the heart of downtown. A very spacious apartment with outside area and view to Baker street. Great kitchen and living room area with a great fireplace, cozy furniture and lots of space, A nice comfy master bedroom with attached bathroom - second bedroom has twin beds - might be nice to have one queen instead but it was fine.
