You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Sweet private studio just minutes from the downtown core.

Our cozy little studio suite is separate from the main house- you'll have your own space and your own entrance and personal private patio in the garden to enjoy. Our yard is lined with privacy shrubs and we have two huge trees, a Japanese Maple and a Black Walnut that are over 100 years old, and on even the hottest days the shade they provide keep our yard much fresher and cooler than anywhere else. There is also a hammock in the shade for your enjoyment, as well as a trampoline :)

The studio has lofted ceilings which adds to the bright and airy feel of the space. We are an easy, flat 15 min walk from all the bars and restaurants and there is a shopping centre 2 min away with a Safeway, Starbucks, and Liquor Store. Beyond that are paths that will take you right down to the water. This location in the heart of the city cannot be beat! You are welcome to borrow our bicycles to get around if you'd like. We also have a couple of cheap plastic kayaks that you're welcome to bring down to the water. Lakeside park is just down the street!

I am a Vancouver expat who has lived here since 2004, although I spent my summers here as a child so I feel comfortable saying I am a local. I work as an ER nurse and manage first aid for many local festivals, so I have my finger on the pulse of what's fun to do around here, especially during the summer! My partner is a local carpenter and we live on the other side of the house so we are here and available for anything you need. We live here with my teenaged daughter and our 2 dogs and 2 cats- we are animal lovers and welcome guests with well-behaved fur babies. ❤️

You're welcome to smoke on the patio outside, but not inside. We are 420 friendly, as long as it is outside as well.

We have only just put our place on this website, but we have been up and running on A*rbnb for a few years and our place gets rave reviews. We truly want our guests to feel at home, and we will do whatever we can to make sure you enjoy every minute of your stay!

Great little hideaway!
Anna was an excellent host! After having some date challenges with VRBO as life intercepted our getaway, Anna made sure we were taken care of. A nice quiet space with an attached outdoor patio area. Great parking. Good coffee! Our only challenge was there is no real shower, just a large tub with a spray wand. Otherwise, it was great and we’d stay again.

Amazing Stay!
This was a fantastic place to stay for our short trip to Nelson. We were able to have our dog with us and it was a short walk to downtown making a perfect location 👌 Host was very kind and great communication when needed.

Lovely little getaway!
My husband and I spent three nights here over the Canada Day long weekend, and it was a perfect little getaway. Very well equipped amenity wise, and a really central location, but quiet and off the main road. Super cute decor, and a lovely quiet and private yard. It was perfect for us!

Needed deep cleaning
Entrance to property was overgrown with trees, grass, weeds. Unit walls were dirty, dust, bug stains, light fixtures layers of dust. Windows needed cleaning. Blinds layers of dust. Only one window with screen. Screen dirty, had gaps. Bed was very soft, had a foam topper. White sheets needed bleaching. Had we stayed longer we would have cleaned it ourselves.

Cute little spot!
This little studio is such a perfect place to stay a few nights in Nelson. It has everything you need including a full kitchen to save some money on going out for all meals. It is a short walk to downtown and the lake. Quiet, comfy and peaceful. We will for sure stay again!

Excellent stay
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this lovely suite. It had everything we needed and was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It doesn’t have a stand up shower head but the large soaker tub has a hand held shower head which worked very well for our needs. We would love to come back again and stay here.
