"Great place with amazing views! Elena, the owner, was lovely but doesn't speak English. We managed with a few words each, a bit of sign language and a lot of Google translate. Rooms are perhaps unusual in decor but very comfortable and lots of choice for breakfast - particularly good omelette cooked freshly by Elena. Good tavernas within walking distance. Fabulous walking with the menalon trail. Very quiet and peaceful. And did I mention the views!"

"We had an excellent time at the farm. The farm was quite new and very clean, the right size for young kids to roam around and watch the animals. You can smell the rosemary and lavender from the garden. The breakfast is fresh and tasty and the people who serve us are very warm. The estate guard dog Kony is super friendly and my kids loved playing with her. The Arcadia is a mountainous area which is very different from other more popular Greek destinations. We arrived at 14.30 and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to arrive on reception to be told the room was not ready and to go away for an hour. When we returned we were showed our room on the ground floor which we booked as a family room with a sea view and it looked at the carpark. Not recommanded to impaired people (stairs to get to the appartment we were in). Cleaning service every day. The host living near and always easy access. But: - Wi-Fi not often available, - very little place, shelves in the cabinet would be useful, to store clothes (when you stay a week, as we staid), - not very pleasant to have to throw toilets paper in the garbage...

"Very quiet area, yet also very close to the heart of the old city (just down the steps). Not fancy, but very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and chatty. Although my room with a balcony was said on the website listing to have "no view" it did in fact have a view of the sea, and a breeze every evening helped to cool things down and dry my laundry. I stayed here once in 2009 and again in 2025. Would definitely recommend."
