"Charming, family run hotel in a quiet section of Plauen, close to the city center. Breakfast included and really good. Staff helpful. Owner kind enough to sell me a beer even though restaurant had closed. She found me a charger for my IPad, Room was small but comfortable, clean and priced well. "The spa, gym, and lake views are excellent. The hotel has a very 90's feel and no room service (this was a bummer as we had a lake view room and wanted to stay in and relax). The beirgarten by the water has excellent food, although it closes at 930pm (as does the only restaurant on site (a buffet). The place was comfortable for 1 dayx the lake location and sauna were exactly what we wanted"

"Sheets and towels were scratchy, not soft. The coffee maker in the room did not work. The pillows had no neck support. The shower head did not have a strong spray and the hand held spray was worthless with spray power. They had a spider in the bathroom on the ceiling, too high for me to reach. On a good note it was quiet, great breakfast, and the bathtub was big for a comfortable bath."
