"Beautiful setting"

"Excellent area & facilities. Unfortunately it was cold & the radiators in our room didn’t work - it was obvious they needed servicing. The restaurant food was very good but our steak order was taken by an unpleasant man. Breakfast was good but with offhand service from a different man. Never felt valued guests. "

"Cute but spacious cabins with views of the lake. Helpful and friendly staff. Limited restaurant menu as it was low season but excellent cooking and generous portions. Great breakfast buffet. "

"The check in staff were amazing, but when we went to the restaurant it all went down hill 100mph, the staff ignored us especially the self proclaimed sommelier, he needs a rocket, even with eye contact he completely chose to not see.....the food wasnt any better, gluggy potatoes full of cheese, dry beoff..no water as asked for when we finally were asked until we asked again later, poured our own wine, and many tables were in the same predicament.. mattress was terrible, but the toom otherwise...

"C'est un endroit merveilleux, la décoration est incroyable, on a l'impression d'être dans un musée, Sandrine est adorable, toujours attentive au moindre détail. Sans aucun doute nous y retournerons car le village est aussi charmant, des paysages magnifiques, la nuit et son ciel étoilé, l’air pur ; C'est une région qui mérite d'être explorée. "

"We had a lovely overnight stay at this gorgeous little B&B. Very different from the usual chain hotel stays we have when travelling. Catherine was so friendly & helpful & even booked us dinner at a local restaurant which was delicious & amazing value. If you are after a great value taste of rural French hospitality, the Sandine & Catherine will be hard to beat. "
