Charming & cozy in-town retreat in the heart of New Buffalo

This unique and charming cottage located just steps away from downtown New Buffalo, in the heart of Harbor country. Perfect for a Chicago family getaway, or a romantic retreat. The interior is bright and has an open floor plan, including a kitchen built for creating amazing meals! The yard is large and private with a grill, table, outdoor chairs, and a large fire pit, firewood included. The cottage has wireless internet and cable. Amenities include a spacious back yard, dual flush toilet, radiant floor heat in bathroom, and energy star appliances. A backyard shed includes two adult bikes and we're just a few blocks away from Beer Church and Lions Pavillion Park and Beach. *New fenced in back yard so the pups can roam a bit more freely (just be sure to double check the gate :)

*Please note that we have an exterior camera positioned to view the front door. This camera is for both security reasons and to help guests that might have any issues gaining access to the home.

Lovely spot for a mother-daughter getaway
My daughter and I were in town for a bachelorette party with the rest of the guest staying at a different property. We just need a small space for the two of us and this cottage worked out so perfectly. Big beautiful backyard, fenced in for our dog who came along. Quiet area, some road noise but that doesn’t bother us. Very nicely equipped kitchen and bathroom, very comfortable and cute design. Would definitely recommend! Also the host was extremely responsive and helpful and friendly - thank you

Heavenly Stay at the Cottage
We loved staying at Marcus' place! It was such a darling cottage and the perfect getaway from the city. We especially appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. We cooked all our meals and even some desserts at the cottage and the kitchen was stocked with all the supplies we needed and then some. I would love to stay here again!

Great Property
My partner and I had a great time at this place. The location was perfect as it was very close to all the shops and restaurants in downtown New Buffalo and the beach. Loved the bedroom loft with skylights and it also had its own TV. The kitchen had everything you would need if you like to cook your own meals. Marcus was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. All in all I would highly recommend this place.

Very private.. Very clean.. Very nice owners..Went for only a couple of nights and it is always refreshing. Fenced in yard for the pup. Quiet,safe area, a little road noise from the road that the backyard faces, but we actually didn't pay much attention to it.

AMAZING! We had only two nights, but wished we’d had several more. Our first night, we sat by the fire pit- so relaxing. The cottage had so many small touches including a gift basket upon arrival, quality soaps, coffee grinder, extra towels, etc. It is filled with quality furnishings and appliances. Beds were comfortable! Downtown is walking distance, which I’m sure would be a huge advantage in season. We will definitely stay here again if it’s available when we visit.

Absolutely loved the cottage! It was a perfect location to do so many things, a lot of dog friendly places too. We also spent a good amount of time at the property playing card games and throwing the ball with our dog in the backyard.

Such a Treasure
We came up from Chicagoland with two pups and two kiddos (9 & 6) and had such a fabulous weekend. Marcus & Tony were amazing hosts and very easy to communicate with. We walked all over town and to the beach, ate ice cream at Nancy’s & Oinks, Dinner at Salty Dog and breakfast at Jackie’s. The backyard is fabulous and we are already planning our next stay.

Great cabin & location!
We loved our stay in New Buffalo. This cabin has so much character and we really enjoyed the proximity to downtown as well. We walked to the beach in the morning and were able to walk to restaurants too. The coffee amenities were a delightful addition to our stay as well.

Beautiful space and fantastic hosts
This was such a great place for our small group. It’s even nicer than the pictures! It may not be ideal for remote working as there are not dedicated work spaces (and only one bedroom has a door) but it is truly a fantastic home to vacation. I’d love to return and make it a regular thing. Make sure to soak up the backyard space. Thank you Marcus and Tony!

Had a great time relaxing, making meals in the brightly lit kitchen, and sleeping soundly in the lovely master bedroom. Easy drive to the beach. Marcus was an incredible host, getting back to me instantly with any questions I had. Beach chairs were really easy to carry. Really enjoying using the fancy grinder and the French press for some fresh brew every morning!

Long Weekend Getaway
We so enjoyed our stay at the cottage! Perfect place to "reset." Marcus is a terrific host. He has thought of every detail to make the cottage welcoming. Pride in ownership shows! And, SO CLEAN!! We loved it. Our dogs loved it. We'll be back!
