"We enjoyed the location and cabin very much. Loved the back porch with the view. Would suggest cleaning up the walkway down to the water along with the dock as it is a little tricky to access. But overall it is a beautiful spot hidden away in the trees. "

"We stayed at The Bowling Cottage for part of spring break. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous, had everything we needed for our stay, and was extremely clean. We enjoyed bowling and billiards at our leisure. Communication with the property manager was easy and clear, they are very responsive and helpful. "My girlfriend and I went for our anniversary and let me tell you this place was awesome! We loved the fact that it was extremely private. The hot tub was great! Walking down to the river was so easy and beautiful and the fire pit was a hit. We loved cooking and enjoying the quiet woods. Blue ridge was only 10-15 minutes to downtown which was perfect. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice simple getaway! We have save it and will definitely be back for our anniversary next...

"Only complaint is that this property shows up as being in Blue Ridge when it is really in McCaysville. However, having grown up in McCaysville, I was very familiar with the area and it was not an issue. The cabin is well stocked and comfortable. We loved the sunset views and the hot tub on the back deck. Would definitely consider a return stay. "
