I thought the building was nice the room was clean but there wasn't any blankets in the room. I requested some and they delivered the morning we were leaving. Also, there was a crowd of people standing right outside the build at night that you had to fight through to get in.

I have stayed here in the past a couple of times and enjoyed it. This time was different. I know they were working on a few things at the hotel but that was not my biggest issue. Our bathroom was not clean. My husband noticed it first and cleaned it up. We were given towels one day but were told they did not have enough bath towels for both of us so we were only given one. We had to call the front desk later and my husband had to go down to get it. The staff, while polite when spoken to, never made any eye contact unless they had to. I watched a couple of staff members arguing in the hall with one another. That tells me this is a management problem. Comments I overheard from guests were not positive so I don’t think it was just us. Hotel is on Canal St so I already knew how it would be in the area. I gave it three stars because the other stays were good. Not sure I will try it again and I waited a couple of weeks before writing this review because I wanted to be as objective as possible.
