Luxe 3BR w/ fenced parking 2 miles to French Qtr

A quick 5-min walk to Mardi Gras parades, this brand new 3 bed 2 bath cottage is centrally located to everything! Two miles to the French Quarter, CBD, Convention Center and more. Easy access to restaurants, jazz lounges, and boutiques. Located in a quiet historical neighborhood. This modernized house has an open floor plan, luxurious décor, stocked kitchen, hotel linens, high speed internet, gated parking, and a relaxing backyard. We are happy to share tips for guests to enjoy New Orleans.

The newly renovated/newly furnished cozy cottage is 1350 square ft. Bedrooms are roughly 11 ft x 10ft in area. The commons area is completely open allowing for guests to congregate in the kitchen, living area, and dining area freely. While the home is exquisitely decorated, it is also welcoming and inviting.

Guests ideally drive/uber/lyft around the city. While walking to the nearby parade route is encouraged, all other attractions should be approached via car

We are very responsive and are available 7 days a week from 9am-9pm for any questions or concerns. We allow the guests space; however, we are accessible if needed.

Historical neighborhood with classic New Orleans creole cottages. Close proximity to everything, very quiet and peaceful.

There is street construction in front of the property. Guests will not be able to park in front of the house due to the construction. Guests are encouraged to park in the gated backyard parking spot or they can park on the side of the property since the house sits on the corner of a street intersection.

Vacation Rentals are wonderful thing for all of us, so let's make sure to protect it so we can all continue to enjoy its benefits as guests and hosts. Our community is not totally opposed to short term guests, but this could easily change should my neighbors complain.

I don't like rules - so I'll try to keep them short and sweet....

1. We do not allow pets or smoking on the property.

2. The toilets are new but the plumbing isn't so please ONLY TP to be flushed. No feminine products or non-TP items.

3. The garbage disposal works fine but know that large quantities of pasta, or vegetables can back it up. So please be gentle with it.

4. Please treat the place with kindness and care as if it was your own.

5. Any noise complaints from my neighbors will incur a $150 fine to my guests. Please bring all outdoor activities inside by 10:00 PM.

6. Please strip all beds you have slept in and leave the sheets in front of the washer and dryer. Comforters and blankets can be left in each of the bedrooms they came from.

7. Please place all dirty towels in front of the washer and dryer well.

8. If you haven't cleaned the dishes already, please place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher.

10. The home is newly remodeled and in impeccable shape. We would love to keep it that way for other guests to use.

11. No parties or events allowed

12. No food or drinks in the bedrooms

13. Only registered guests allowed. The maximum number of guests is limited to 8 adults. An additional charge of $25.00 per person per night for guests older than age 2 will be assessed for parties larger than 6 people.

14. Guests should dispose of the garbage in the trashcan

15. Do not use the premises for any illegal activity

Amazing home away from home
We absolutely loved the house , great location to everything. Quite neighborhood, lovely decor, and it was well stocked. The only issue we had was with the keypad on the last night of our stay but we we’re staying in so it wasn’t to big of a hassle with getting locked out. Would absolutely stay here again an recommend to everyone

We enjoyed staying here. There were a couple kinks but the owner was very quick to respond and fix them. They checked in on us frequently to ensure we were good. Cold water bottles awaited us in the fridge, which was greatly appreciated during the hot days!

Home away from home
I am glad we didn't have many set plans because no one wanted to get out of bed. The back yard was perfect for a group of us to wind down with snacks after a long day. Every room had a happy, comforting vibe. You can tell the owners lovingly took time to make sure everything from the beds to the chairs ensured a memorable stay.

I love everything about this place, has an luxury hotel vibe. Plenty of room, beds were very comfortable. There are robes and house shoes for everyone. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash and lotion. Kitchen was stocked with water, coffee, tea, mineral water and some champagne. I will mostly definitely check availability when coming back to New Orleans.

A Gem in Treme!
This home is beautiful. India and her team helped us out with preparing for our friend's bachelorette weekend in New Orleans! The beds were soooooo comfortable. The four of us got some of the best "away-from-home" sleep we've ever had! The kitchen was well-appointed. The bathrooms were bright, stocked with towels and other items. There wasn't an amenity that was spared. Also, the washer and dryer in the house was so clutch! Thanks again India for a wonderful stay and for being such a great host - I would definitely stay again!

Wonderful home
I have to say that this was probably the best VRBO that I have stayed in. Everything in this home was perfect: beautifully, comfortably appointed bedrooms, well-stocked bathrooms and kitchen. The hostess was incredibly thoughtful with stocking the kitchen with drinks and snacks, and she emailed me throughout our stay to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Definitely a perfect home! You do need to note the location, however. It was within driving distance of everywhere we needed to be, which was great, but the neighborhood itself was in need of repair. We did have gated parking for our car.

Concerns
The door and gate lock systems were strange. If we entered the gated parking area, we could not enter the house from back or side doors as there were no keys. We could only enter from the front through the keypad though instructions told us to only use the front entrance after first time. This was impossible. The air conditioning/heating system was unreliable. It was either too cold or too hot. The beds were ridiculously high, to what end? We are both elders so the height of the beds was inappropriate. Probably for children as well. The directions told us that we could use Hulu for the TV’s but did not provide a password. We had to ask. Otherwise very clean and well appointed but some of the instructions need to be reviewed and rewritten.

Great place to stay!
We stayed 5 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful and clean. Checking in was seemless and India responded to us in a timely fashion. Conveniently located within a few miles from Garden District and French Quarter. The neighborhood is generally quiet, however I wouldnt recommend walking around the area, as some spots are a little sketchy. But we would stay again!

Beautiful inside
The property is beautiful and clean inside. The parking situation was annoying. You have to go through the front door through the house out the back to open gate then back around to move car. There was a couple people digging through the trash a couple times when we were leaving. But I do think most major cities are having the same homeless problems.
