I didn't like that our room was right near the back gate area and that the door didn't touch the ground (there was a 3-5 inch gap between the door and the baseboard...mosquitoes were able to enter through there. I think we might have been in an older part of the property though. Really comfortable beds, beautiful courtyard area.

Booked this property last minute for a Taylor swift concert. We did have to wait about 10 minutes for them to finish cleaning our room, but it wasn’t an inconvenience for us. I’m really picky about hotels and I had 0 complaints. Smelled clean and we slept like babies.

The property was quaint and exactly what I wanted for my first stay in New Orleans. The courtyards are pretty and the staff was incredible. Everyone was so polite and friendly. We stayed on a very busy weekend and we were pleased to find the overflow parking was secured at night with quick service to let us in and out. I've seen mixed reviews about the cats in the courtyards but to us they were a bonus. They keep to themselves but add to the charm. The property is old but it adds to the charm and it was clean. The street car stops right out front to take you to the French Quarter and the hotel is walking distance to Magazine Street and several notable Garden District mansions.

When I got to the property they said my reservation had been canceled because my credit card did not work. They said they tried to contact me but I NEVER received a phone call or was left a message. When I asked what number they called the manager said they “don’t have the logistics of that.” When I asked when they tried my credit card she said she couldn’t find that information either. They were fully booked and I had to find another one place.

From the true historical southern charm to the cleanliness of the property, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Shortly after we checked in and got in the room, our A/C unit went out. Called the front desk and in 60 seconds a tech was at the door to look at it. The unit was done for and they had a new one installed in cooling our room in less than 15 minutes from the time I called. Thanks Dennis and Melvin! Loved the fact that it was easily walkable to the SuperDome as well as the French Quarter.

Most of the staff was nice. Kitchen staff kinda rude. The room was well kept and clean. The door however did not lock, something was wrong with it. And the shower did not have a door, something weird about that. The parking was good and the area was good because it was right on St Charles Avenue. And it was very close to the WW2 museum.

Great location within walking distance to bars, restaurants, and next to the green line street car. Parking at the hotel is very limited,14, spots, but street parking was fine and free. Most of the staff were nice and friendly. Overall, would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This was the nicest stay I've had after many stays in New Orleans to date. Parking was right across the street. The front desk staff was nice, helpful and patient with all my questions. There were very friendly, professional security officers placed intermittently throughout the property so we felt completely safe. The property is also conveniently located to just about anywhere you'd like to go in NOLA. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again!

We liked the convenient access to the tram and some nearby restaurants, but sticky floors and a persistent smell of cigarette smoke devalued the experience, especially since staff said they would reclean the floor, but apparently did not. New Orleans is expensive, but for the nightly price of our stay, I expected better accommodations.

The look of the property is beautiful but rooms are very outdated and not overly clean. The weather stripping was broken or missing under our door and you could see out the area so it would be very easy for water, critters, bugs, etc to enter the room. VERY limited breakfast options for free. They had a breakfast buffet for 14.99 per person.

Maison St Charles was a great little hotel that was well located. It was close to French Quarter and Garden District and could be walked from with ease. The room was simple but fine. The courtyard was a wonderful space to relax and read in. The pool was very special and we both used in the evening before dinner. I highly recommend this hotel.
