All the essentials
We were in town for a whirlwind weekend and this rental was perfect. The nearby Nighthawk restaurants had incredible wood fire pizza. The ferry was convenient to downtown New Orleans. Instructions and communication with the owner were clear. I definitely recommend this rental if you want a quiet place to sleep, but still have easy access to downtown NOLA.

Potential Galore
With a bit of effort this property could be cute as a button and more comfortable to stay in. The front of the property appears dilapidated due to some missing or falling slats in the shutters. The entranceway to the property has one motion sensitive light that works well. The other should be functioning too. The sitting area in front of the separate building at the rear of the property which sits in front of the rental unit is cute but it faces what is best described as a pile of junk. Several problems inside the unit were remedied quickly by the owner which was greatly appreciated . Attempts to strengthen the weak wifi signal were unsuccessful and we could not work from the unit as a result. The bed is comfortable and bathroom towels are great. New bed linens matching the quality of the bath towels would be a good improvement as would removing two dining chairs and replacing the round table with a small square drop leaf freeing up space in the kitchen area for a small sofa. TV remote needed for kitchen tv. Narrow table needed between fridge and stove as a place for coffee maker and toaster. Hang bedroom tv on wall and remove tableland replace with two small easy chairs. Host was communicative and receptive to suggestions for improvements. Great location.

Me and my partner got married in Algiers and this was the perfect place to stay. It was smaller than expected but was extremely private. It was in a convenient location.

As always I love staying in Algiers Point. However, I had no indication the place was more of a studio apartment. I was looking to have a living room to sit in and was wanting a porch to sit on when I wasn't in the Quarter. I did have trouble logging in the wifi. It was a decent place.

Cozy spot
We had a great stay in this cozy little spot! Right across the river from Downtown NOLA! A nice walk through the quiet neighborhood to the ferry doc and a quick ride across the river was all it took to get us to the French Quarter! The host was responsive and the place was clean and comfortable!
