House was originally built in 1902 and described further:
- 5 King Beds (one in each bedroom)
- Queen Pull Out Sofa Be
- Cable TV in each bedroom
- Wireless internet throughout house
This house is setup for you to walk in and enjoy. It is setup for short-term rental and is ideal for traveling families or groups of friends. The property is roughly 3,000 s.f. with 5 bedrooms and 2 baths, a private courtyard in the back and a front porch for relaxing. You will feel like you are part of New Orleans while you stay in this turn of the century home. Of the 5 bedrooms, one of the bedrooms is located downstairs, with the other 4 bedrooms located upstairs.
Safety & Parking
The house is located in a very safe and secure neighborhood called Uptown. The street is very wide (wider than normal) and is located across the street from an Elementary School, so there is plenty of parking and good lighting at night. This house is ideal for groups of women and families who are looking for a safe and convenient place to stay while visiting New Orleans.
Walking Distance
The house is walking distance to the famous St. Charles Street Car line, which can take you anywhere in the city - including downtown and the French Quarter. Even though it is faster to Uber, I highly recommend taking the street car at least once while you are in town. The house is also walking distance to coffee and begneits (corner of St. Charles & Milan), as well as walking distance to many eateries and drinking establishments along the Freret Corridor.
- 5-7 minute walk to St. Charles Street Car Line
- 7-10 minute Uber to Downtown/FrenchQuarter
