Avenwood cabins offers private cabin getaways in the beautiful Wayne National Forest. Our woodland escape ensures relaxation while providing modern amenities. Each cabin boasts state-of-the-art hot tubs with a view of the forest, queen-sized beds for guest comfort, air conditioning for those warmer months, WIFI and Roku-equipped televisions to keep you connected, and of course a pet-friendly environment for your fur babies!

Great location and the hot tub and pool table were great
We toured hocking hills and this was a great location. Check in was easy and the place was very comfortable and roomy.

Comfortable & Convenient, Near Hocking Hills and Wayne NF
This was a great cabin to relax in after hiking in Hocking Hills and Wayne NF. Close to Logan as well for groceries, restaurants, etc. Property was very clean and comfortable.

A great getaway
The private backyard was great and the size of the interior was much larger than expected. I was surprised that the cleaning office is attached to the cabin, and part of the view from the dining room is obstructed, but it was definitely well worth it. Would definitely stay there again.

2nd visit and even better!
My family has visited now twice, back to back years in December. We had a great time once again! Everything was clean and awesome in the cabin. The cabin wasn’t as cold as last year, and perhaps that’s been updated. You can’t beat the hot tub and pool table. Location is close to Logan and hiking in Hocking Hills. We look forward to our next visit!!

Great Place to Stay
This property was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway! The breakfast room is beautiful with floor to ceiling windows and was the perfect spot to sit down and play a board game. The kitchen came equipped with just enough supplies that we could cook inside one night. We spent most of our time in the Billiards room, which was a huge reason we booked this cabin! Most of the pool cues were broken, but we were able to fix one so we each had a cue to play with. The backyard with the hot tub and firepit was a lovely little view! Overall a beautiful space and perfect for just us two and the dog, but definitely will come back here with friends!

Attended a wedding
we were in the area for a wedding, the cabin was great. It was well appointed and provided everything we needed. We appreciated it is a pet friendly unit since we traveled with our 2 dogs. The privacy was wonderful.

Perfect!
Had an amazing time. Power went out a couple times but owner kept us updated with when it should return. Nice private backyard. The unit is attached to the office for the cabins but they were not there long each day and didn't bother us at all.

The maintenance/office was connected to the cabin which was mot in the listing and left iut of the pictures. The pictures for the property are not what it actually looks like. Its a bit deceiving.

The property itself was nice and very pet friendly which was great for our furry family. Having the hot tub the pool table and a dartboard was great and the kids had a blast caliber two out of the three for six or broken.The location was very far from any of the sites we wanted to see and there were a lot of rundown house is very close in proximity. The one thing that was very disappointing was that the office for the cabin was also attached to our property so while we were trying to have some private family time there was a very loud truck coming and going from our property. We also were given an incorrect address which caused a lot of stress when we were driving around trying to find this place in the middle of nowhere a very kind neighbor ended up driving us to the location.
