"The host and interior of the cottage were fantastic. The deck needs a lot of improvement. Someone had stained the floor very carelessly with stain all up the outside wall. The 7 km drive into the property was terrible and speed for most of the time had to be 5-10 kph. This was not the renter's doing and I feel sorry for them for that. We were well treated and interior was well supplied, clean and comfy"

Based on the listing that the property was on the lake we were looking forward to him being able to swim, yet were told "NO" by the locals as it is a duck itch water spot. The room was spacious and clean (we stayed in the Bachelor unit), however the mattresses could be replaced. I'm not sure why rentals feel that hard beds are the way to go. If we stay...

Great Location for exploring

"Despite being located close to the highway it was a quiet stay with undisturbed sleep. Spacious room, clean comfortable - I stayed two nights. I met the host who was friendly and helpful. Good view of the bridge, you need to drive to get food, but great location to explore the Cabot trail and beyond. "

"The front desk was busy at check-in.....one of the two serving customers was Erika - she seemed the senior person. My wife and I were extremely impressed with her! She was courteous, super efficient, friendly - and wow, the person you would want to have greet you. I mentioned to her she would be getting a 'great' report from us. We are in our 70"s were tired, looking for a good nights sleep - which we got!!! Thank you Erika - and Travelodge!!!"
