Did not match expectations
As a VRBO owner myself, I want very much to give positive reviews! However, this stay did not meet even my minimum expectations. Listing was NOT accurate. There was no washer/dryer/ironing board. It was on the 4th floor, not "4-steps". City Views? Actually, it was a brick wall or the courtyards between other buildings. 20 hours before check-in I had not heard from owner. So, after messaging them, I did receive a response giving the name of the person who would meet us at the unit and give us an orientation. Great! Except that instead they later messaged us & told us keys were in the unit. Key was very hard to use!!! Finally, we figured out that if we removed key about 1mm we could lock the door. The relief valves for the radiators were VERY noisy and the radiator in the bedroom could NOT be shut off. That first night I was woken 10 times when the heat came on! Shower was NEVER hot; it was warm. I suspect the mixer valve was not adjusted properly since I could get hot water from the sink in the bathroom. I had to use a plunger to the get the shower to drain adequately! It was VERY frustrating that the intercom was not programed to the door 4-floors below! Since there was only 1 key, if one of us came at a different time, we would have to walk down (and up) 4 floors to let the other person in. Despite renting for 3 guests, there were only two towels initially provided.On the plus side: Sheets were soft and many of the kitchen items were new.
