The first two nights were pretty quiet for NYC. The third night was unbelievably loud. Around midnight until 1:30 am, vehicles were continually honking their horns.

Staff were friendly. I liked how close you were to subways and short walking distance to big landmarks. I also appreciated the fact that you can leave your bags with the hotel for a small fee if you're too early for check in time or are still staying in town after checkout.

It served its purpose and the staff was friendly but the property was old and dark. A lot was painted black and we had no daylight coming through our window because it was completely blocked off by something outside our window. But overall it was okay.

We arrived early and was not greeted when we walked in. I had to make sure I was at the correct place. They wouldn’t let us check in early it was a huge inconvenience which I get you have “hours” to check in but no way the hotel was full. I even sent a message weeks before we arrived. They did store our bags but they seemed to be a hassle as well. Once we did check in we were in a tiny little room that was dirty. The walls were paper thin. We could hear the noise from the street, to the child up yelling all night. I found a bug in my bed the next morning. The manager was notified we were able to change rooms. The second room was clean and so much quieter. Once these issues were resolved it seemed like everyone became more friendly and it ended up being an ok stay. I was never offered any type of refund for the bug in my room, which I feel I should be. That was a huge inconvenience. If staying check your beds. Location was pretty good. Italian place (Nettis) right beside the hotel was excellent! I highly recommend!

I didn’t like the sound that we could hear in our room, very often.When I ask what was the noise - the reply was people entering the parking garage but it would be closing soon. Not sure of opening and closing time but think it opened around 6am and closed around midnight. So it was annoying most of our time there.

Great location. Don’t let the reception area or elevator (all black interior) scare you. Room was spacious and clean. Walkable to time square and many other locations. Across the street are two great breakfast/bagel places. There is a small fee to store your luggage after check out. Free water bottles at front desk.

hotel was a bit run down. inside the rooms and lobby area. staff was decent but def rude and made it a hassle to request for things when calling. seemed like it was a burden for them.
