I liked that it was clean and tidy, and I didn't like the lack of shoes in the bathroom because not having his shoes in the bathroom is not good

Not a bad place. It was squeeky clean but could use some paint. Water temp was constantly fluctuating which made the shower an adventure. Elevator is very small and dead slow. But for the price you cant beat it.

This property is perfect for anyone looking for a cheap but cozy stay in the heart of New York. The room was wonderful, the desk provided we had was a little chipped but still an amazing addition to the room, the shower and bathroom were large and very comfortable- my only compliants being the water pressure was a little light and the extractor fan was a little loud; but besides that was perfect for me and my partner. The bed is one of the comfiest beds ive ever laid on, after a long day of walking it was nice to know wed come back to a warm comfy bed; the addition of a Tv being great with a huge selection of great local shows and channels. There was also a fridge that was perfect for storing water and other drinks. The staff were lovely and the cleaner made sure we had clean sheets and pillows almost everyday. Another great thing about this hotel was the location, the location is what sells this hotel- it is about 15 minutes walk from everywhere popular especially for shopping and food needs. Overall, this hotel is amazing and i would gladly stay here again and reccomend to anyone wanting a budget freindly option within the heart of NYC.

The toilet broke twice, but the front desk staff were very accommodating and quick to respond and gave us another room to use the bathroom of temporarily. Location is very good and overall nice stay for the price. Would stay again.

Doxie was cute for our Christmas adventure in midtown. Worked out well the first couple days when it was cold outside but then when it warmed up to the 50s our hotel room did as well and we couldn’t cool it down. We left the fan in the bathroom on, we opened the first of two windows. We turned the ac on in the window. It was uncomfortably hot, it felt like mid 80s. The cleaners even opened the window because it was so uncomfortable. The whole exterior wall in our room had what we realized were heat vents under the window but without any means to close them or turn down a thermostat. It made sleeping challenging as it felt like we were in the tropics but it was Dec in NYC. It’s a cute place for sure but our room was cookin. So when we would take showers and the hot water would run out it wasn’t so bad because we were hot but still a bit disappointing.

Fantastic hotel, 5 minutes walk to times square and centrally located for all other major tourist attractions. Room was very clean and came with all toiletries required in the bathroom (including conditioner!) Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. There is also storage for luggage which was great when checking in and out. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Air conditioning is a window unit which was a bit noisy and there was a broken old fan in the room. Some of the lights were flickery. Overall it’s alright however the staff was super friendly and check in was a breeze
