Went here for sisters 50th birthday. Emailed ahead to tell them it was a special occasion. Arrived and no mention of birthday- certainly no special treatment or change of room. Very basic, not enough towels in room . We had to ask 2 days on a row. No tea making facilities once asked they supplied a kettle and a couple of paper cups. Staff not very friendly. Wouldn’t recommend

The property is very clean and safe. I love that is next door to grand central and we can hop on and hop off the subway so easy! Also super close to many awesome spots like Bryant Park.

Very frustrating to spend $400/night for two rooms and not have the ability to make coffee in the morning or be provided with bottled water. AND, at midnight, upon trying to find a vending machine to purchase water, discovered there are none. I was literally sent out to the street vendor to get water or only accepted cash and charged $4.00. Could not find an ATM that was within a brief safe walk so I had to go back to the front desk to complain which finally resulted in 3 bottles of water. UGH. This hotel gauges guests due to its location.

The property is centrally located, making it easy to navigate the city. While the market and dining options within the hotel were underwhelming, there are plenty of great choices within walking distance. I would strongly advise against booking a room near the elevators, as the noise can be disruptive. Another drawback is the large credit card holds, which are higher than those of other hotel chains I've experienced. Despite these issues, our stay was overall good and comfortable.

Terrible service. This is not a hotel where you can hang out in your room. Its just a place for you to crash end of the day aftet site seeing. Average bed, small and not very clean bathrooms, barely any toiletries, no coffee machines, no microwave, no drinking water, stinky dirty towels and pillows, elevators dont work most of the time for customers needing accessibility. We went with a toddler and this hotel was the worst decision ever. Only reason why i gave 2 stars is the proximity to everything
