"Amazing independent hotel in central Edinburgh. Really good staff. Welcoming, helpful, efficient. Room was spacious , luxurious and comfortable. Great mattress . Had a lovely quiet sleep. "We have stayed here three times now and will certainly be back. It is ideal for travelling with our dog; the staff fuss him, he gets to be with us in the dog-friendly mini dining-room and got his own sausage at breakfast. We found the evening dining room in the basement a bit tricky with a spiral staircase so the staff set a table for us on the ground floor. Huge comfy bed and plenty space in the rooms."
