"For our 25th anniversary we chose Newport, RI for a getaway. As first time visitors, we researched options and chose the Vanderbilt because it seemed central in location and the fact there were onsite spa services and good bar. This first choice was fortunate because we then met Morgan, the lead concierge. I booked the hotel and then immediately emailed re:spa services. "I had a nice room on the third floor with two comfortable beds and an ocean view. Clean bedroom with mini fridge and microwave. Hotel is easy to find and lots of parking, some of it covered parking. The fellow who checked me in was cheery and efficient. There is a gym on the 3rd floor and an indoor swimming pool on the lobby floor.
