Awa quant à elle a su nous faire apprécier la cuisine sénégalaise par son talent et sa générosité. Quant à Adama elle est toujours souriante et prête à rendre service. "Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour. Les lieux étaient propre, tout fonctionnait, la cuisine était bien équipée. Dudu, le gardien sur place, était discret, disponible et serviable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine qui était très bien entretenue et propre. Elle a aussi une zone peu profonde qui est parfait pour s’y asseoir ou pour les enfants plus petits. "My son and I really really enjoyed our stay at Somone. I will remember our daily walk/jog at the beach. The pool was the perfect size. The storm dust affected its cleanliness but we enjoyed it anyways. Great restaurants nearby and many family activities within driving range. The helps were accommodating. Guorgui spent the nights there which was fine. I would like the whole place to myself if I had travelled with my entire family. Great place, I definitely recommend it."

Really Bad Experience

"My experience both when it comes to booking and service have been really subpar with the rooms being even more underwhelming. Colleagues went in to find dirty towels and dirty linen. The room had bugs all over especially ants and mosquitoes. After a very difficult first night, we requested a cancellation of the booking through the booking agency and the hotel rejected. After the second night, it proved impossible to stay there and the team checked out. The hotel still refused to issue a partial refund. We ended up booking a new hotel a few minutes down the road. On top of it all, trying to communicate with the reception was just a problem. Genuinely if you are desperate for a single night, maybe. But just know there’s no where to get food close to the place. For long stays, just get a Hotel close by."

Relaxing family get away

"It was very relaxing place to be right above the beach with beach access. However the beach has a lot of debris from as that area is mostly used by fishermen. I stayed 8 nights with my 2 kids. Our room was spacious with a bounce bed and 2 twin beds. The beds we comfortable. The only complaint I would have is that when the weather is hot, it is hotter in the room because it is up stairs and there is no AC. Only half of our stay was hot enough to complain about. The staff was very friendly and kind. The owner was so gracious and will arrange anything you want from transportation to food delivery from outside. If you want a place to relax and do nothing but listen to the ocean waves while you sip a cold drink and your kids play in the pool, this is the place! I would definitely come back over and over again! "
