"My husband and I stayed at the Edgewater for our honeymoon. It was my first time in Rarotonga and my husband's 3rd. We absolutely loved our room, loved the gardens the birds, the chickens the cats the sound of the sea... Our room had a walk in shower which was perfect with reasonable pressure. The only thing that we didn't like was the price of the restaurant food and lack of cheap lunch options, and communication issues at times as we tried to alert staff of our neighbours smoking in their room...

Staff kindly prepared and delivered a breakfast box to our room the night before so we werent hungry waiting at airport departures the next morning the usual hotel breakfast commenced at 8am. Thankyou for this gesture if was yummy! "

"The manager and staff at Aro’a were absolutely wonderful. Lisa, the manager went well above and beyond what we expected in terms of service and helpfulness. The room was great, with amazing views. The place was very clean and tidy, both in our room and in the remainder of the resort. The food at The Shipwreck hut was brilliant and we loved seeing the whales playing in the ocean."

"Arrived early hours of the morning. Reception unmanned. Driver of airport minivan is your concierge. Might be pot luck if he knows where your tent is. Ours wasn't sure. Tent 4 overlooks carpark and office. Not as private as tents 1, 2, 3 and uncomfortable with people looking directly into tent 4 from the carpark. Roosters roam all over Rarotonga including Ikurangi - crowing all night long. Noisy road outside Tent 4 - sleep may escape you. Equipment within the tent is poor/cheap...
