Small hotel ideally located approx 10 mins walk from the front, 5 mins walk to the train Station and close to both tram lines. Friendly staff and nice continental breakfast at the cafe looking out at the basilica.

This is a central location with excellent staff who are very kind, friendly & accommodating. They have a great cafe with vegan and gluten free options. The only real downside was that there was construction in some of the rooms next door but not at night.

We spent two nights in this lively hotel. Pre-booked a really affordable bottle of sparkling which was waiting in the room with two flutes, sweets and a nice hand written welcome! The wine was delightful and a good value. Breakfast downstairs was excellent and I appreciated the cold water dispenser in the lobby. The staff were fabulous. Tom was very helpful this working as we were booking a car to the train station (really a short walk but with packs w opted for an Uber for 12 Euro). The desk staff also explained the tram system which was very convenient for getting to old town. While the room was small if was efficient and even had a kettle and an espresso machine. We would stay again if in Nice

Small boutique hotel right off the main road to the sea. Smallish rooms. Very European. Close to the train station. Nice walk to the sea. Lots of shopping. Great coffee shop attached. Staff could not have been more helpful. Very pleasant

One of the few things that stood out first and foremost for me was the friendly and professional hotel Cafe Hug staff. They were very warm and accommodating. Throughout my stay they have become my good friends and have suggested to me the local sights and places to go visit that would otherwise be overlooked. The second factor that stood out was the cleanliness of the hotel interiors and the quality of room service. The third factor was the location convenience. Hotel du Centre is 5-10 minutes walking distance from the Nice-Ville Train station and is by the Nice Tram route as well. Having these within walking distance ensures that one can go visit many of Côte d'Azur's beautiful towns.

Loved the location across from the cathedral. Very walkable, with the tram stations within 5 minutes and the train station in 8 minutes. Grocery store and mall across the street. Staff were the best. Lots of amenities available. Breakfast was at the cafe below, so coffee and pastry tray at tables beneath the cathedral, watching people go by. Great gelato place on the same block. There is a tiny two-person elevator for those who can’t do stairs.

Hotel Du Centre is in a convenient location to the train and relatively close to old town The coffee shop next door is convenient and very popular If you like church bells in the morning this is the place. At 8:05 each morning they ring obsessively. Even more on Sundays. The church is right next door

Not a good experience here. I travel around the world this year and stayed in many different hotels. I usually don’t write a review. But I feel I should write one for this hotel. The front desk staff asked me to pay for breakfast and told me it’s really good. In fact, this is one of the worst breakfast I had. The elevator is extremely small and can’t even fit 2 persons with luggage. There are some other issues that definitely need to be improved. I hope there will do.

We had a lovely 3 night stay. The room was as expected, very clean and comfortable. The hotel is cheaper than most in the area but they really go the extra mile with complimentary drinks and macaroons on arrival. The staff are all very friendly and offer lots of advice and help with bookings. Special thanks to Louison. It is a great central location. We would stay here again. Thank you

All of the perks hotels.com listed I could receive as a gold member do not even exist at this hotel. Late checkout costs money, they checked us in even later than the advertised room, and we had to pay for our room upgrade (so I know an upgrade was available). The "suite" we upgraded into was just a slightly larger hotel room with an awkward spot where there could be a seating area but there was no furniture. Additionally, the shower wand had to be manually held because the latching mechanism did not work. The check in process was extremely chaotic and the hotel was not a good use of 200$.

My two teenage children and I stayed in a triple-room for a single night last week. We booked it online as soon as we arrived in Nice. The elevator was typically tiny, as was the "lobby" area :) The price was fair -- the room was small, but had a fridge and room for all 3 of us. The room/bathroom were clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room's AirCon wasn't cooling well which, on our way out immediately after check-in, we mentioned to the kind woman in charge. When we returned five hours later, the room was appreciably freezing and we'd been provided a fan. Outstanding response and service. 10% discount on coffee/drinks next door at HUG was nice. Location was great, smack in the center of everything in Nice and a short walk from the tram stop. Will book again next time we are in town. Since it can be crucial, I'll repeat: The staff were all lovely.

Hotel De Centre is a very nice hotel right in the middle of everything in Nice, great location and all major attractions are a 20 minute walk or less. You are on the main street 20 minutes from the beach. Nice Ville train station is less than a 10 minute walk if you want to go to Monaco or Cannes. Customer service at the hotel was amazing, everybody was very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are a little small and there are additional charges added on if you want to check in early or check out late
