"We found this last minute on the way through Switzerland to Belgium, however found the hotel a little run down and tired. Sadly, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired ."

"Rustic Hotel, with reasonable charm. Food good. Wifi was so weak as to be unusable all the time I was there. The signal was fine, but it seemed that everyone else in the hotel must have been watching videos. It isn't free wifi, if you cannot use it!"

"We had a great stay at this small hotel tucked away in a wooded area of the Vosges. The renovated room was very comfortable with good quality bedding and although the bathroom was a little dated everything worked well with plenty of hot water. What was really outstanding was the lovely brasserie (they also have a large dining room which is used for big group events) where we dined and had breakfast both nights of our stay (other dining options are a drive away). "The hotel was not what we were expecting from the website. It was in a poor area and appeared rather run down. We were expecting a restaurant but was told on arrival that it is closed in the winter, breakfast only. However the owner took pity on us and provided a three course meal in our room which was very good. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Owner was very nice but we will not be using this hotel again."

"Although we loved the idea and style of the accommodations and farm, we did compromise on some levels. The room had natural light but to have privacy., the shutters had to be closed which made it very dark. And although there were lamps, there were not any extra outlets for recharging cellphones or a cpap machine so the lamps had to be unplugged. The bathroom was dark and the towels did not dry overnight. The linens on the fold out sofa did not feel crispy clean. The house cat was very friendly,...
