"Was so quiet we could not believe it . And there was a full moon . Good to get away from it all Staff delightful . Slow internet so enjoy the peacefulness. Great breakfast! Had a shower head malfunction but we fixed ourselves. Would have liked a few more signs on road to get there. Not all rooms have kitchen or Cabnets . Need to let owner know if can’t do stairs .( 4 people master in loft with attic stairs )"

It was extremely tiny and had some unusual characteristics. The ceiling over half the bed was very low and my husband twice bumped his head while getting out of bed. The bathroom was split in two and you had to walk through the room to get from the toilet to the shower. The towels were too thin...

"The best thing about the hotel is undoubtedly the friendliness of all the staff. From the guy who checked us in on the first day, who was very kind to us and made it easy for us after a long journey, to the person in charge of the buffet in the mornings. We had a problem with the heating and one of the other guys at reception kindly brought up his own heater from his desk. It is a very well communicated hotel, but without a doubt what I would highlight the most is the friendliness of the staff....

"Excellent location slap bang in the centre. Excellent breakfast with lots of hot and cold choices. Room was small but comfortable bed. Well kitted our room but could have done with some coat hooks. Main issue was that room was not cleaned every day and even had to ask for toilet paper when it ran out.
