"Ideal location for the good quality golf courses in the area. Whilst this is a good property there were a few areas that we thought could be improved on. We arrived on a Sunday evening and shops are closed in France. A welcome pack with a few essentials would be appreciated. Listing on VRBO advised that towels were provided, none in the gite, not even a tea towel for drying up. "Isabelle is an outstanding host. She made every effort to ensure that our visit was as comfortable as it could be. We had a minor issue in the property but she went above and beyond to fix it and make our holiday the memorable trip that it was. The beach was beatiful, it has great sand for building castles, waves for the kids to body board and even old ruins to explore (just beware of the broken glass). We had a wonderful holiday and I'd love to do it again. Thank you Isabelle."

More toilets nearer to ground floor bedrooms would have been useful (but they both coped well with light to cross to the ground floor toilet by the front door) I used the upper floor opposite end of the propertywhich might have exit problems in an emergency). "We had a fantastic time. The house is lovely, clean, spacious and well equipped. It's very close to the beach and there are some lovely walks nearby. It's close to the port of Calais and the centre of Calais. Joel was a great host; he's very friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend it and would definitely come again."
