Completely renovated former coach house of villa “Hoeve Ceres” from 1898

Hoeve Ceres in Nieuwolda is rurally situated in het beautiful Oldambt. This region is characterized by capital farms built in the 19th century by rich grain farmers and small workman houses. Many of the rich and eventful history of the region is still present.

Hoeve Ceres is villa built in 1898, beautifully located on a quiet road on a large plot of almost 5000 square meters with views over the countryside. The former coach house has been converted into an apartment, suitable for maximum 8 (adults) people. A cot and/or extra mattress can be added for a maximum of 2 children.
On the ground floor you will find a private entrance, living room and kitchen.
On the upper floor is a landing with gang, two bathrooms, separate toilet and four bedrooms.
The bedrooms are not that large and have limited storage space.
The spacious living room of 35 m² has underfloor heating, lounge area with TV, DVD player and a large dining table with eight chairs. Well equipped spacious 25 m² kitchen with four burner gas stove, microwave/oven, fridge, separate freezer, dishwasher and kitchen table with four chairs.
The two bathrooms are equipped with shower and toilet.
The four bedrooms each about two eenpersoonsboxspringbedden.
There may, for an additional fee, a cot or extra mattress with bedding.

The Coach House has wireless internet access.

At us you find peace and space. The pendulum garden in English country style is available for our guests.

You can enjoy the silence or cycle, hike or sail nearby.
The sea and the beach (De Dollard) are nearby.

Charming towns in the vicinity are: Appingedam, Winschoten, Oudeschans, Bad Nieuweschans (small fortified towns).
The famous spa centre Thermen Bad Nieuweschans is located in Bad Nieuweschans.

Creative people who are looking for tranquillity are invited to practice visual arts in this beautiful area. In the historical large room and suite of the villa is the studio of visual artist Anthon Meijssen. There you can also practice visual arts.

We offer education in visual arts for young and old talent.
A combination of staying in our apartment with working in the studio under personal supervision is a special experience.

Europe vacation

We arrived and the host was there and welcomed us. The place was quiet and very quaint, located in the farming area. The house was everything we were looking for in a Vrbo. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area! Host was very accommodating and helpful, enjoyed staying there very much!

Schönes Haus in Fiesland

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in der Nähe von Gronigen verbracht und bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten war auch alles TipTop in Ordnung. Ein paar Dinge wären allerdings hilfreich gewesen: Es gab keine Waschmaschine/Trockner wie in der Unterkunftsbeschreibung angegeben, allerdings konnte man Bekleidung von den Vermietern waschen/trocknen lassen. Der Fernseher hatte keinen Empfang und es gab leider viele Mücken - aber keine Mückengitter an den Fenstern.

Für den Preis mehr erwartet

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns wohl gefühlt. Lediglich die Betten sind sehr schmal und die Waschbecken in den Bädern zu klein.Auch gibt es kaum Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeiten in den sehr kleinen Schlafzimmern. Für den doch recht hohen Preis hatten wir mehr Komfort erwartet.

Perfekt für eine große Familie

Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Gastgeber sind unglaublich nett. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig aber wenn man mobil ist, kann man einiges Unternehmen. Für ausschließlich Strandurlaub ist die Gegend nicht so geeignet.

Kleines, nettes Kutschhaus für viele Leute!

Ich und acht weitere Freunde waren für neun Tage in diesem Haus und hatten nie das Gefühl es ist zu eng. Es hat schöne moderne Möbel und das meiste was man brauch ist bereits vorhanden. (Unterschiedliche Töpfe und Pfannen, Gewürze etc.). Den Grill konnten wir auch gut benutzen. Der Garten war auch sehr schön! Die Besitzer sind sehr nette Vermieter und sehr verständnisvoll und hilfsbereit. Ebenfalls konnten wir alles auf Deutsch bereden! Eine kleine Verwirrung ist, dass nur das linke Gebäude gemietet wird und nicht auch die eigentliche Villa. Dies war aber bei uns kein Problem!

Tolle Unterkunft mit Schwächen

Insgesamt fanden wir zwei Familien den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Der Kontakt zu den Hauseltern war sehr freundlich und hat super geklappt. Leider wurde uns im Vorhinein nicht mitgeteilt, dass der Ofen nicht ausreichend funktoiniet, weil die Mikrowelle defekt ist. Außerdem reicht aus unserer Sicht die Kücheneinrichtung (Teller, Gläser und Besteck für uns 9 Personen nicht aus). Die Leistung des Ofen ist zudem viel zu schwach. Wir haben versucht Pommes und CHicken Nuggets zu backen, was leider nicht gut genug geklappt hat. Die Schlafräume waren wirklich eng und teilweise ist das Wasser in den Waschbecken nicht abgeflossen. Der Fernseher hatte keinen Empfang und das WLAN war sehr unzureichend. Für eine Wohnung, die wir für mehr als 2000€ gemietet haben, erwarten wir, dass es dementsprechend auch ausgestattet ist.

Wunderschöner Kurzurlaub

Wir haben mit acht Personen ein wunderschönes Wochenende in dem alten Kutscherhaus verbracht. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt und der Garten ein Traum. Eine kleine Wohlfühloase, in der man zur Ruhe kommen und entspannen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super Wohnung für eine Gruppenreise!

Wir haben mit acht Personen ein Wochenende in der Wohnung verbracht und waren super zufrieden! Die Wohnung und insbesondere die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Es war super sauber und allem hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Gerne wieder!

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung

Das Haus ist sehr schön mit einer sonnigen Terrasse windgeschützt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet für 8 Personen. Das Wohnzimmer wie der Rest sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Schlafzimmer sind etwas klein und ohne Schränke eingerichtet. Aber sie sind hell und durch die beiden Badezimmer und der seperaten Toilette war das alles kein Problem. Uns hat der Aufenthalt bei Joke sehr gefallen. Wir haben schöne Fahrrad Touren gemacht.

Familientreffen

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit allem, was man braucht für 8 Personen und einem idyllischen Garten und gemütlicher Terrasse zum Entspannen. Küche und Wohnzimmer sind modern und großzügig eingerichtet mit viel Platz und einem großen Esstisch für 10 Personen. Auch mit 10 Personen lässt es sich sehr gut aushalten, allerdings müssen dann 2 im Wohnzimmer auf Matratzen bzw. Sofa schlafen. Die ländliche Umgebung ist malerisch, das Grundstück riesig. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.
