"Sejour tres agreable appart fonctionnel, bien placé, bien placé. Endroit tres propre, personnel disponible, chaleureux.et accueillant ! Petit bmole pour la literie ! Canapé lit plus que trop vieux, lit qui grince+++ au moindre mouvement. "

"This is an amazing house build onto the rock face. It is very practical (bearing in mind the steps). All mod cons are included. The mattresses are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. It has amazing views of the Tarn river. Despite being here in August we didn't have any problems parking in the village Carpark. There is so much to see and do around here. "Vous avons passé une semaine dans ce gîte vraiment très agréable où rien ne manque! Le gîte est très bien équipé, le jardin bien clôturé, la chambre à l'étage très jolie avec ses murs en pierre voûtée, la pièce du bas bien spacieuse, et les propriétaires adorables. Vraiment, je recommande ! Le gîte est également très bien placé pour découvrir la Lozère."

"Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette région magnifique et ce village ainsi que ses habitants très accueillants. Le bémol concerne le chalet où visiblement le mois de mai n'est pas adapté pour y séjourner car la veille de notre arrivée, on nous a indiqué qu'il faisait trop froid pour mettre en marche le jacuzzi et une fois sur place, on nous dit qu'il fait trop chaud pour allumer la cheminée. "Good location for visiting the western Cevennes, basic accomodation that was comfortable for two. It could get a bit noisy in late afternoon and early evening but the view was stunning. Parking occasionaly awkward and the steps up to the cottage could be difficult for some."

Tricky to find, even with the help of some good men in St Andre de Vizines, the effort was exponentially rewarded. Of our 1800+ kilometer drive to visit alps, a bridge, a cave, and a city of lights, our stay in St. Andre keeps emerging as a true highlight."

"The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful with dining recommendations - but I want to particularly thank the lady behind the desk on the night we arrived. I didn't catch her name, but she was friendly, helpful with dining recommendations and kind enough to store some things of ours in the hotel fridge when we realized there was no fridge in the room. A really pleasant stay in a fascinating little town. No lift to the rooms, so folks with difficulties with stairs may have issues."

"This old stone house is built up against a cliff in the Tarn River Gorge, a place of exceptional beauty. We stayed in early spring and enjoyed the fresh greenery, bird songs and the occasional fox sighting. It's very secluded yet convenient to town and exploring the area. The house has a well equipped kitchen, good lighting, a comfy sofa for evenings and a very good bed. The porch offers a fine view of the river and canyon and is great for eating out. Clare and Alex have worked hard to make this a five-star experience, and we appreciate their hospitality."
