"The staff were really good. We were allocated a very average room and when I called reception they did the best they could you relocate us. Still not great but definitely better. Beaches restaurant had changed their menu from a week prior which was disappointing. We are very regular stayers and would like to be recognised regularly not just when we book multiple rooms. We go with hotels.com as their reward program is more immediate and flexible even tho I am a gold IHG member"

"An outstanding hotel. While the facilities, beds, bars and room fittings (shampoo, conditioner etc) were all outstanding, the service shown by the hotel when it came to my EV was excellent. We arrived short on charge without a plan after a long drive. The concierge then outlined the Valet service which included normal valet parking and an overnight charge for $50. Outstanding value and service and make our subsequent trip to the nearby beach for a swim all the more enjoyable!!"

"Firstly the staff at check in were excellent and secondly the room was lovely. The decor is stunning both in the foyer and the room. Everything was beautiful. Check out the next day was quick and easy. It was our first visit to Newcastle and will definately be back to stay for longer to be able to try the different styes of restaurants close to the hotel and take the walks around the parks. "The place was newly renovated, which made it really nice and clean. The bathroom design was amazing! Unfortunately, there was no kitchen sink, which made washing glasses and dishes quite challenging. My kids and I enjoyed the pool. Would have been great if the spa was warm.
