It is a less-traveled place...that begs to be discovered. And if you decide to give it a try, I must recommend this vacation home in the middle of both a vacation neighborhood and in the middle of the Altes Land (amazing history and experience)."

Host made check-in and check-out convenient. Only concerns were that there were really only 2 bedrooms, not 4 as listed. "Location of the house is within the grounds of the owners property so is private and not overlooked by neighbours. Quiet and peaceful. The cottage is quite old inside and is in need of updating and modernising. We heard mice in the bedroom but this is to be expected as the house is in woodland. Overall a pleasent stay."

"Wir haben unsere Zeit in dieser wunderbaren Wohnung sehr genossen. Jedes Zimmer individuell, mit Liebe zum Detail, gestaltet. Der Wohnbereich lädt zum gemütlichen beisammen sein ein. Super war auch, dass einige Lebensmittel vorhanden waren. Die S Bahn ist zu Fuss in knappen 10 min erreichbar. Die Züge in die Stadt fahren alle paar Minuten. Ruhiger Flecken so nah an der Stadt. Absolut empfehlenswert."

"The house was as described, clean, easy to access to nearest towns. It was about 45 to 50 minutes to Hamburg. They had a lovely cat which treated as on our arrival and when we left. The house is on the river which made our holiday superb. We had our tea every morning in the garden. The house was warm, had a great bath and a modern kitchen."
