"You pay here for location, not a lot else. Rooms are ok, hotel average overall, very limited communal area (just the foyer), the 'bar' looks like an afterthought added to the end of the reception desk, breakfast pricey for what you get, staff ok but expect no more than thr average german customer service. No aircon in the rooms, which were already feeling warm in early May. Fine for business travel when just a bed needed, for anything else you will likely be disappointed."

Hotel itself feels set in a residential area between the train station and town. Functional room, modern bathroom, bed that wasn't too hard (if small and narrow). Limited work desk. "The hotel was located in a great area near restaurants and shopping. It was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and we had no problem communicating with anyone, even though we speak very little German. Would highly recommend the Nordsee. "

"My room in this hotel was very clean, had a strong shower with good water pressure and hot water, there is a machine for buying coffee anytime downstairs, and there is a breakfast available for an extra price. I had to go catch a train Sunday morning and the breakfast didn’t begin until 7:30 because it was Sunday, so I missed it and was not able to eat since I had to be out catching a train at 8am. I think breakfast should always be available early for travelers. "

"This hotel is far better, cleaner, and cheaper than any 4 or 5 star hotel I've stayed at in the USA. Breakfast served on porcelain plates, none of that Styrofoam crap you get at Sheraton for $200 a night and a lame waffle with fake syrup.. I'll gladly stay here again. Only improvement I see needed is a WiFi signal booster, that's it. Great hotel."
