"Stayed initially for three night but enjoyed it so much we had two more nights there. The apartments are well appointed and quite private. The rooms were spacious and well fitted with a jacuzzi in the bedroom. Quiet in grounds of large house on outskirts of Vila de Punhe about 4miles from Viana do Castelo. Easy access to the town. The staff were very nice and the owner was very helpful. The views were lovely over the area and vineyards. Everything worked well and had no problems."

"Gaia is across the river from Porto; a short ride to downtown but away from the throngs of tourists. The beach and beach restaurants are a five minute walk from the house. Joaquim was a wonderful host and the accommodations felt like a five star hotel. we would definitely stay here again."

"Felt like home after staying for a month. Suite had a functional kitchen, bathroom, dining area, bed, and storage. Room refreshed every third day with quality linens, towels and kitchen supplies, including coffee/tea. Beautiful view onto street and river that captured the essence of Porto.
