"The location of the property was perfect to visit other areas of the Cotswolds. The property was quiet and had everything you needed to make it feel like home. The beds were so comfortable and have never slept so well. It was peaceful and relaxing and was lovely to hear the church bells even through the night. The location was ideal to explore and walk around the village and countryside. Would stay here again and highly recommend."

Nearby Chipping Norton caters for all shopping needs and has good roads to all parts of the Cotswolds. Minor niggle: the shower needs a soap dish! John E."

The property was exactly as advertised, in a great location and was spotless. Also, having tea and coffee at the property is only a small touch but has a great impact and shows Manu cares for guests. "It is such a lovely hotel. It smells just drvine and this was my third stay. The 2nd time in this room actually. Sadly the bathroom floor did have some small flecks of dirt, the bath had rust on and we were unable to get the plug out of the bath. These are such small minor things but are worthy of note. The staff were fabulous as usual. The communal eareas were beautifully decorated for Christmas. And whilst ive already said it it is worthy if a second mention. The hotel smells amazing! "

"The room was of excellent proportions, comfortable bed and warm. The only item missing was a fridge. The evening meal in the restaurant was well presented, but not to my taste, a bit too vegetarian particularly the starters. At breakfast time, whilst it was a good meal, the staff had difficulty in keeping up which meant there was often several items awaiting replenishment. A good stay. "
