"We found roaches and blood stained sheets! The beds are very uncomfortable! The property needs updating! The best part is the breakfast! They are delicious and the staff welcoming us were amazing. Sometimes, the service was iffy - not even water was given to us ;-(. Roos and wild birds were around the area so if you want that vibe, it’s a good place! But it’s not the resort/spa we were used too! "

"I had a friend stay from Sydney so when looking through where to spend my.money & as swam in pool there so booked Check in was fine. ROOM WAS OLD TIRED & AT $205 a night.RIPPED OFF OVER CHARGED ETC. RIDICULOUSLY DISSSPOINTED "

"Ocean glimpses "

"Great staff, weekly housekeeping, excellant location, great view of the ocean and pool. Comfotable bed and pillows. Lots of hot water. Air conditioning works well but you have to turn it off to sit on balcony as the unit blows hot air. The grounds with lagoon are spectacular. Efficient bus service in front of hotel. Safe area with lots of footpaths and restaurants. Laid back surfer vibe. Had 2 days of heavy rain and found bugs in our room. They offered a new room or spraying. Spraying worked. Kitchen fixtures a little outdated but functional. Patio furniture needs replacing and this is on their project list. There were issues with one elevator and the elevators were hot. Loved our 3 week stay. "

"Rooms far smaller than the photos portray. Oven is ancient from the 70s and required matches to light the gas as the starters don’t work. (Have never even seen an oven this old) It’s 2026, this should be more modern for how much you’re charging at nearly $300 per night. Had to make the kids beds as they don’t do it - For $300 there are far better options! TV didn’t work at first and remote cover kept falling apart, couch was filthy. Saucepan was so tiny and a lack of kitchen amenities. Wouldn’t stay here again."
